Billboards without safety are UNACCEPTABLE. All civilized countries with billboards adorning their roads have strict regulations for them which ensure aesthetical value AND SAFETY.
As far as the ANP flags are concerned, I feel non-violent and non-disruptive political activity such as harmless flags on SF is a healthy sign unless they are the calm before the storm.

Thats new way of advertising. Instead of putting up “ugly” billboards now the structures will be used to host flags and rags.
ok i gotta say these empty bb’s do look ugly
if they were told to take the thingy down then why don’t they take the whole thing down??
don’t tell me they have plans to use them again!

Bribing accusation without an eyewitness? not fair
But who knows may be. No party is perfect
Everyone is entitled of his/her openion. (without losing civility)

Syed_Johnny ..Why do u and ur loser MQM ppl get so offended when the truth is written about the political party. MQM is behind every possible corruption in the city and thats the truth..Hell they even own a tv channel to show they’re such angels.

Danish sahab !!!
Firstly !!!I am not a part of MQM !!! nor have affiliation with it or any other political group for that matter!
What I was trying to say that !!! the Almia Mr Doctor stated was of whole Pakistan and not just Karachi !!
And blaming MQM for everything isn’t the Answer! The Jamat also had the govt of Karachi for four years ! they also had same faults !!!
balkay if you compare the work of both Jamat and MQM in the CDGK tenures ! Then you will come to the conclusion that the short term work was done in the former as compared to the latter one !!!!
and what pisses me off is that !! Guys like doctor don’t have anything else to do than to malign MQM! if things go around like this you will see! Guys like Doctor going on international forum and blaming MQM for the Palestinian cause!!
wake up!! by unnecessary criticism a person looses ingenuity!

my brother works for a marketing company in karachi. he told me the flags were put on for visibility purposes. since some areas of karachi have an immense amound of sign boards, it is difficult to tell whose is whose especially if they have no identifying features. so some companies have taken it upon themselves to mark them.
