Dead fishes on the shore of Karachi
Karachi is a city where listening to stories about finding dead bodies might not be a great deal, but this time its not about human life – its about sea life….![]()
I took this picture few days back at the beach near MacDonalds, Sea-view and today I read this story in Dailytimes about thousands of dead fishes found on KPT harbor and people collecting them to sell in city.
These fishes in large numbers started appearing on the shores of Karachi near Keemari on Saturday morning and the number increased by Sunday noon.
Read the story here.

:-S
FISHES??
ya Fish ;-)
It most defintely is fishes. Why I just saw Luca Brazi with his camel on the sea view…I heard Luca Brazi sleeps with the fishes….(Hint: Godfather)
It is not the first time. Probably an oil spill, as those are common in the anchorage.
Also, a chemical spill is also possible, as that causes huge fish culling in high tide.
Unaiza, the word is FISH I believe. The plural for fish is also (quite surprisingly for you) FISH.
seems like folks commenting on this post are drugged to delusional, no one responding seriously, except a few mature audience :P
Tonnes of dead fish extracted … and now sea food would be a bit cheaper in Karachi ;-)
***why’s KMB all about fighting with each other?? Credit the girl for bringing up a issue that affected many families ~_~
hardly any one is commenting on the issue raised by this post?
80% of the people are just throwing mud at each other.
this is also true to the other KMB posts as well, to some extent!
@ all the Unaiza-bashers here:
You lot are IDIOTS. The woman raises an important issue here, and all you guys can think of is bullshit? Get a life, all of you!
@Bayl :
I really didnt know that.
So now should I quit writing?
No, cause there are so many things I correct from here, so much I learn from people of my beloved country.
And yes I plan to write on an urdu blog, may be you guys can correct me on it;-)
NED and others: If you don’t have anything relevant to say about the posts here, we don’t need your comments. I am deleting all the useless comments.
Seems like all our readers never made a grammar error in their entire life.
Ok, it is believed that the dead fish were thrown back into the water by the fishing trawlers.

Hey…it’s not fair. Whatever happened to freedom of speech? We all should be allowed to write whatever we want….you should not take sides…you are a moderator and should be neutral.
You can’t say what is relevant or not…..in my opinion, Unaiza’s story didn’t worth being on this blog…it was a news in all papers and she basically copied and pasted….
Your “freedom” ends where the other person’s nose begins, sweetheart. “Freedom of speech” has its limits. You’re free to discuss/debate stuff rationally — ad hominem does not constitute a rational argument, however.
Actually, fishes is indeed one of the plurals for fish – you use it when you are referring to several species of fish.
Freedom of Expression my %$#@
Just because Bolevishit is an old lady, the moderator is being generous to her, unhindered by the fact that there is hardly any positive side of the old woman to be seen on this blog. And that goes for Unaiza too
I agree, Fishes should be Fish and MacDonalds should be McDonald’s but let’s save the fish first.
** Freedom of Expression my %$#@
4 letters? Are you British?
@Bolshevik,
so it’s Ok for you and Unaiza to pass beyond people’s nose!! Most of your PERSONAL opinionated writing is very offensive to many of us but nobody is deleting that crap!!
I think, you took offense of me commenting about your “BIO”…but think about it…U are not a 6 years old girl…imagining yourself as an alien princess is not creative…it’s simply stupid…how could you be so childish…..
Seems like you didn’t learn the lesson. You can only comment on topic. That’s your freedom of speech. If you are so keen about seeing this blog as you desire then use the contact link on the sidebar and do all the ranting over there. If you don’t have anything to say on topic then don’t say anything. We are not very anxious to read your comments.
