Umar did a post recently on Greenery (?) in Karachi. Found this photo on KMB flickr group & for a moment thought i am in Singapore (okey okey not Singapore but you know what i mean . . . ). A burst of WIKs this week. Good oey !!

    Isn’t this some place in Defense? I think there’s this round about sort of thing when you take a left from the Saudi Embassy where there’s lots of greenery, but I don’t remember seeing a waterfall there…so I don’t know either.

    roundabout near Saudi Embassy… similar landscaping have been done there but am not sure if its same one..

    It’s Qaid-e-Azam park in steel town. That was tough ;) since I only knew the photographer’s name.

    The guy is rite. This is PAF Museum lawn. It’s not a huge waterfall to take shower under it. Just about 8 to 10 feet high.

    looks like the PAF museum has been upgraded!! If this pic is of PAF i.e.

    but my opinion is that this is of Qaud-a-Azam Park(commonly known as Jheel Park)

    Looks to me like it’s a snap of that billboard on Sharah-e-Faisal that says: “Karachi, City of Waterfalls”!

    Syed Johny, Neena & Jay are DEAD right. Its Quaid-e-Azam Park Steel town Karachi.

    Few thought its PAF lawn but its not. All of you , GOOD TRY.

    steel town is on national highway, around 20-30 Km (i think so ) from qauidabad, its population is 95% of employees of Pakistan Steel mill, same as Gulshan-e-hadeed phase I and II (i think the III has started too.)
