Everywhere we have a 2 day weekend, and quite a few weekends were 3 day weekends. This gave people a day to rest as well as go about shopping and frolicking. Sadly, Pakistan is a six-day week, and most people can only go shopping when their husbands/family come back at 6 or 7 o'clock. Which is why changing the timings is a seriously twisted idea.
