Eye Infections

Just met a number of very random people from different parts of the city all having eye infections. Seems like the famous ‘ashoob-e-chasm’ (conjunctivitis) thing is about to break out. Infection is typically characterized in the start by a clot of blood becoming apparent in the cornea. Later symptoms are more complicated and I will leave it to the professionals to describe them in details. General tips for the those infected include limited exposure to excessive light, exclusive use of towels and beddings, and keeping your fingers away from your eyes.

Here is an article on conjunctivitis with some background and tips. Please make sure you consult a proper doctor before trying any medication.

Don’t use rose water. The redeye/pinkeye infection takes a week to cure. Keep it cleaned up, wear sunglasses around the house if you can, stay in as much as possible.
