I live in GJ too but I don’t know what’s the status here. I am gona outside for a walk or something and then I’m gona see what’s the current status. For all I know and heard of is that everything is closed.

MUSTAFA KAMAL has announced that all educational institutes will work as per schedule tomorrow. This means that the business activity comes back to life tomorrow.

In Clifton, just near Bilawal House to be precise, its quite lively. All sort of personnel are roaming around BH (lots of media vehicles not withstanding); roads going to BH are blocked, though other roads in the area are accessible, people are coming out for walks, shops with every day usage items (including fruit and vegetable vendors and general stores and bakeries and the like) were open both today as well as yesterday. Sorry to know the situation in Gulistan-e-Johar, hope people there are bestowed with some sense.

Mostly everyone I know stayed home, some of them who went to work came early.

The people who did the blast may rot in special Hell as they knew well they couldn’t hurt Benazir and their bomb will only kill innocents.

All is calm and quite here in Gulshan-e-Iqbal. The shops which were opened in the morning are closed now.

There is quite an eerie sort of calmness in my neighbourhood.

On route to my office at Zamzama from Gulshan Iqbal (13D area) … all I saw was complete closure of shops & markets … a few Rangers personal under Stadium flyover and NO activists on the roads … May be as it was just before Jumma prayers.

Lets see what will get on my way back ?

I think we already post regarding deserted streets, why is this being done over again.

However, PPP activists forced shops to close in Chundrigar area. Thats all I have.
