Loadshedding is back
and this time with a vengeance! After what seemed like a too good to be true situation where load shedding was limited to as little as an hour a day, since yesterday, it has crossed the four hour barrier at various places. I would know, as i was without electricity for almost the whole day.
Yesterday was a bad day, as i kept moving to different parts of the city, just to keep up with the load shedding schedule. From 6 AM till 10 AM, i had no electricity at home, after which i left for work. There, KESC decided to switch off the electricity twice, first from 11 AM to 1 PM and then from 4 PM onwards till 7 PM. The last part of the day, which i spent in defence, i sat without electricity from 9 PM to 1 AM.
Maybe i was just unlucky, and others had a better experience, but it sure doesn’t signal good times to come.
Even today, i’ve been sitting without electricity at work for the last hour and a half. Whats the situation on your side of town?

We had same in Lahore too, from past 2 days in 2 batches of half hour.
I read somewhere that hydro-electricity productivity has dropped in past few days which is causing these issue.
As Karachi is bigger, impact is also bigger.
same here. went twice yesterday for 2 hour stretches. has been gone for an hour this morning as i type this.
