Question: What does someone gain by letting the air out of someone’s tires?

Have we become that cowardly a nation, that we now have to let the air out of someone’s tires to let out our aggression? Yesterday, while performing an errand on Tariq Road, i parked my car in a small side lane taking care to press my car as much into the sidewall as i could to let other people pass. When i returned, i find one of my front tires is flat!

First, it used to be this guy in my apartment building, who didn’t like me or where i parked my car. So he would leave me a gift of letting me change my tire every morning till i just got fed up and parked on the opposite end. Now, this happened.. I mean, where is decency any more! Next thing you know, someone would have bashed your car or break your windows if they don’t like you. As our morals decay on a daily basis, a bashed up car doesn’t even seem that far fetched.

Follow-up Question: Whats the worst act of passive aggression you’ve faced (or doled out) while out on the road? (Passive aggression is something someone does intentionally but in non-threatening manner to piss you off)

What does someone gain by letting the air out of someone’s tires?

if that SOMEONE is a KMB Author then the reason is quite obvious :-)

P.S: My comment is neither technically nor logically off-topic. By technical I mean that if someone runs the algorithm of string find against the words like Air,tires and someone then it will always give result > 0

BTW have you told about this problem to other residents maybe they are too experiencing this.

There are two ways hard and easy.

    Hard way

    1. Park your car near your window and place a webcam away from plain view and record it. Catch the culprit red handed and post the pics around your building.

    Easy way

    2. Put some “Khujli Powder” on your tire valves.

    Darthvader,

In my childhood days, it used to be available at every shop around the corner in Karachi. You can also get hold of it from here.

    ShahidinUSA,

Dah we are born with brains too ;). BTW, I consider it highly sexist but it’s a discussion for another day and another time so lets move on.

    Mansoor,

Do you have an idea who is doing it?

It’s fun! You do it because you know the owner of the car will be so pissed off that s/he will run to her/his bedroom, grab her/his laptop and post about it at some grand weblog. *grins*

We used to do this to this really stupid professor who was very far from being in good terms with any of us. We had to listen to him for hours n hours and he wouldn’t let us talk orask Q’s. {Once, this student got really courageous, stood up and asked something. The professor was so shocked that he had a mild heart-attack.} We’d do all kinds of things to his car. Flating out the tires, using the roof of his car as a pan in those sunny days to ‘cook’ scrambled eggs, glue-ing the doors etc etc..

    Follow-up question’s answer:

I parked my car in th morning behind IT park sh faisal (my office is in IT park), in the evening, there was a shehzore parked behind my car and blocking two other cars, truck owner was no where to be found and i was supposed to search whole building (each and every office) for it :@. luckily i got a hint from person standing nearby that owner is at 5th floor. so i found the driver responsible and took him down with me. but unfortunately truck didn’t start. so i asked few people around building to give me a hand in pushing the truck, but they all denied (and we call people of karachi helping and caring). neways i and the driver managed to push the truck to a distance where i can easily take my car out.

What I really learnt from all that is we all are selfish to a dangerous limit, we are not willing to help someone even in terrible situations. han lekin agar main larki hota tu baat aur thi

bhaio saray kaam baad main karna pehlay insaan tu ban jao
