Fire on I.I.Chundrigar Road

I have just reached office and found out that the Adamjee building opposite State Bank is on fire.

The fire is on 4th or 5th floor and is spreading. My office building is just adjacent to Adamjee Building and there is already smoke filled in our building corridors.

The Fire Brigade / Ambulances are reaching the scene and trying to control the fire, however, people above the fire level are still stuck!

Update: The fire apparently started in the generators below. A helicopter has just arrived to rescue those stuck. The building and close-by offices are being evacuated / cautioned by the authorities.

Resubmitting the comment due to error in above one.

Zubair – It’s checked and Aaj is reported it too you can read it here

PS. KMB is a volunteer venture why they want to increase readership, huh?

    Neena, Thanks. Got the link.

My point still remains valid, the incident is exagerrated, which should not be the case.

Karachi Metblogs has a significant readership now and it’s time KMB displays some sense of responsibility. Spreading lies is not ON. The posts should be based on facts, or author’s opinions.

The above post, in my opinion, is a poorly stated truth and comes in the category of a lie.
