This time it is my office building. Shortly after midnight a fire broke out in the electricity distribution box in my office building, destroying the electricity cables. Luckily the fire was put off before it could do any major damage, but our building is left without electricity for a few days.
Seems like the holy angels (or whatever it is) are not guarding this city anymore. This is the fifth fire incident I have seen in last few weeks. More often than not we think it will not happen to us, but it did happen to me and my co-workers. Tomorrow it can be someone else. The threat is very real. So far human lives haven’t been lost but you cannot guarantee that every time.
We must build an effective fire protection and fighting system as soon as possible, before it’s too late.
