A group of citizens are getting together at the Karachi Press Club today at 7pm, in a very peacful manner to show their protest against the recent impostion of Emergency &/or Martial Law here Pakistan.

The candle light vigil is a part of a global initiative launhced by Pakistanis all over where Pakistanis aggregate at selected places around the world at precisely 7pm local time in a peaceful manner to show their obejection to the martial law, a similar vigil is being organized in Lahore as well.

If you care to join, then please bring a few candles to the Karachi Press Club, participants must be informed that there is no intention of confrontation with the security forces and we have full intentions of remaining peaceful.
