It definitely is the city of Karachiites + it is dear to all of us pakistanis because it is the heart of pakistan. but o all my brethren! why do u fight for mqm or against mqm. always have the audacity to take sides with truth. whether it be musharaf, nawaz, altaf or benazir. whatever situation we are in, we must observe that situation, who is wrong there and who is right there.

i m a punjabi, but o u all karachiites, u r so dear to me that words wont suffice the purpose. u made sacrifices for this motherland, salaam to ur parents/ ancestors. but Khuda ke liye, ae mere azizo, hamwatano, lisaani, ilaqayi tasub se balatar ho ke bhai bhai bano. ye nahi ke zabaan se to kaho ke ham bardasht kar sakte hain doosre ko aur amli taur pe is ki nafi karo. main to kehta hoon punjabi ho to ehl e zabaan hazrat main rishte karo, ehl e zabaan se ho to pathano main, sindhiyo main rishte karo. insan ko dekho us ke hasab nasab ko nahi. agar wo acha hai to use qubool karo, ye hai wo bhai chara jise Nabi e Paak (SAWW) ne taleem kiya tha. aik ilaqe ke log doosre ilaqe main gaye to unhain baham sheero shakar kar diya. yahan tak ke aik waqt wo bhi aaya ke wahi un ki pehchan bana, unho ne lautne ka to kabhi nahi socha. main kyu aap ehl e zabaan hazrat ko muhajir kahoon, bhaiyo aap pakistani ho, ha urdu zabaan aap bolte hain, ye aap ki pehchan hai, meri bhi hai, aap mera khandaan ho. maazi main bhi aap ke saath zyadti karne wale aam log nahi the, wahi tabqa tha jo aaj bhi barsar e iqtidaar hai, hamain mil ke use hatana hai, ham nayi paud sab kar sakte hain, ha qurbani mangti hai ye tabdeeli.

tasweer ke dono rukh dekhne chahiyain, har shakhs insan hai, wo insan jis ki sarisht main sarkashi hai, jo khata ka putla hai, so na MQM wale farishte hain na uncle musharaf, na nawaz, na benazir, insan ko nahi us ke amal ko dekho. agar MQM acha kaam kare to hamare sar aankho par, aur agar ghalat kare to ham us ke khilaaf hain, isi tarah aap log hamain apna dushman na samjhain, ham aap ke apne hain, apne jaisa nahi kahoonga kyunke us main phir 1 nisbat ki doori hoti hai, aap aen mere apne hain, aur main aapka. khuda hamain ittefaq ata kare, hamain aik karde, Ameen. me mqm ke kirdaar pe koi baat nahi karoonga, aap log khud haqeeqat se waqfiyat hasil kijiye aur un ke iqdamat ko haq ki tarazu main tolye, isi tarah baqi sab ke kirdaar ko bhi.
khush rahiye. khuda hamare watan ko salaamat rakhe aur hamain aik khandaan ki soorat rakhe taabad, taqayamat. Ameen. Sum Ameen.

agar main ne apni baato se kisi ko azarda kiya ho to maazrat khwaah hoon, bas dil main ghubaar tha ke ham kyu tukro main bate hue hain, aik kyun nahi, so aap sab se keh liya, ke aap hi to mere apne hain.

I completely agree! Everyone’s just become too IMMUNE to everything around them that seeing a petty fight or even a victim surrounded by blood does nothing to the people watching..its almost INHUMAN! but then again..I remember when I was in Dubai in 1992 and my family and I were hit by a four wheel drive. It was funny because we were told later that no one actually came forward to help us on the road because they were scared to get involved with the police etc (the same situation we deal with in Pakistan). Someone just called an ambulance but otherwise people were just bystanders!
Ridiculous!
we all survived and were fine alhamdullilah but anyway my point is that this behaviour isn’t really limited to people from karachi..its people from Dubai too! ;p

i quite agree with the person who has commented on Karachi being the house of terrorism and the fact that Karachi is becoming too dangerous even more than Iraq and has no directions at all where to head.
But when she says that someone do something about this then why doesn’t she start that of this is an issue that the government needs to think of we can only talk on these issues and keep on talking

well i certainly believe that karachi is pakistans metropolitan city and above all it is the most essential part of pakistan.
According to this the city should be more of taken care of which ironicaly it is worse.
Recently in the newsweek issue the headline that had been issued was
“Pakistan as the most dangerous country of the world, even more dangerous than Iraq …” this is the issue that was out after benazir bhutto entrance to pakistan after 8 years.
well.. so what if shez back
we don’t need to kill our own people for that.
i mean every little issue in this country has turned into a bombing murder case or something else.
What are we doing as a nation. I mean hello?
i do believe if this continues sooner or later there will be no PAK- istan.

so people wakeup do something about this – make our pak- istan .. the pakistan quaide-azam made .. .for peace . not for terrorism.

Wakeup: Naseerullah Babar and Pakistan Army put an end to MQM’s reign of terror in Karachi, for that they deserve respect.

MQM might gain respect in the rest of Pakistan if they give up their guns.

And one thing more, Please remember Not to repeat the mistakes of 1971.

Pak Fauj did not surrender in 1965 but they did in East Pakistan in front of Indian Army. The difference was in 1971 the East Pakistan’s majority was not with Pak Fauj.

And a sense of National Unity should be given to all Pakistani citizens before a crisis. By transforming Pakistan into United States Of Pakistan.

Yah Karachi Hai.
Its a big city of 15 million + my friends and only locals can run it. To understand this city and just to overcome its normal day to day difficulties, is an enormous challenge within itself. No other party other than the locals should think of interfering in Karachi’s politics.

Metropolitan cities are very hard run. It takes a lot more than just collecting votes. Imran Khan and associates Nawaz and others should always keep this in mind. Very cooly.

MQM is in power of this city by the people of Karachi. All Pakistanis should and must accept this by thinking cooly. Yes they should not agree to MQM all the time. But they should understand that all major political parties in Pakistan are not Innocent. MQM is Not Innocent too.

But they do have the majority of Karachi with them, its that simple and all should respect that.

And to Nawaz , Benazir , Fauji and associates.
Sending people like Naseer Ullah Babur to take care of Karachi, was the biggest mistake ever. They need not to repeat this ever again. Other wise this country will break into many pieces.
And we need to understand this.

And we have to put Naseer Ullah babur and associates to justice for creating anarchy and murdering innocent people of Karachi.

For me there was more to study in this series than “usual argument” in the city of violence, I might add. And even more interesting aspect, if I am not being too imaginative, would be to see this in the light of recent developments in the country since 3rd Nov. I am sure Zainub posted this under similar context.
