Our media is at present totally dis-honest and biased – and doing a great injustice to the profession of journalism by reporting ONLY ONE SIDE of the picture ie. covering only anti-musharraf sentiment.

WHAT ABOUT THE PRO-MUSHARRAF SUPPORT?

Even GEO is covering ONLY anti-musharraf rallies, it is NOT covering Pro-Musharraf rallies. AND SEEING THE BIAS & PREJUIDICE OF THE MEDIA AND THE FALSE HYPE CREATED BY PUNJABISTAN, MUSHARRAFS SUPPORTERS ARE SLOWLY RISING TO THE OCCASSION AND STAGING PRO-MUSHARRAF RALLIES TO COUNTER THE ANTI-MUSHARRAF RALIES, not just in Pakistan (but outside Pakistan as well!). One such rally toook place in Toronto and GEO REFUSED TO COVER IT.

Talk about DIS-HONEST JOURNALISM! And then they complain that ‘the dictator’ has clamped down on the media.

NOW ITS EASY TO UNDERSTAND HOW THE ENTIRE MACHINERY (judiciary, media, propoganda) IS IN THE HANDS OF ONE PROVINCE and they are leaving no-stone unturned to put Musharraf in a bad light, by hook or by crook!

Ramla with all due respect, quit fooling ure self.ppl do not protest, not because they are satisfied with the present situation, but because we are immune to everything.

Most of us have grown up amidst violence and bomb blasts so now even if it happens right next door, the only responses you’ll get is either a “Meh!” or a “tut tut, how sad” & thats the end of discussion.

Most ppl are not protesting because they know nothing would be acheived and more importantly, there is no one to rally behind.

More than being disliked, politicians in this country are weak or puppets. Even in crisis no one has the ability to stand up and get people to rally behind them.(Just take a look at KHAN’s list).

Until some one with strenght and conviction stands up the general public will stay quite.

By no means does that or should that be considered as strength or approval or the current administration.

Why surprised? Let’s come to terms with the fact that many support Musharraf. That’s why they are sitting home.
