Well BALMA when I was a kid it was my grand fathers place that we all use to gather and have tons of fun. Of course there were Saas Bahu rivalries and one chachaa avoiding another, but we kids didn’t had a care, we had our poor Bakraa’s and later on the food was gr8. Whereas, now I’ll be in the office and my kid will go to school and the meat will go to some body in Bangladesh. It all looks nice and proper but where is the fun?

REality_check, when one gets to be your age, Eids are not that fun anyway.

    Eid mobarak to all.

Today Qasai charged Rs.2500 on first day for Gaye in North Nazimabad area. His work was nice and didn’t damage the gosht.

on a related note, AKD(Aqeel Karem daddhi)continued showing off this year as well.

BALMA absolutely right, the emphasis is on kids. Even chritmas which is celebrated like anything is for the joy of kids and those who can switch to kid mode for a day or too.

    Eid Mubarak To ALL

  23. balma (unregistered) on December 23rd, 2007 @ 9:59 am

I don’t know if Karachi rules or not, but the word is not bakra (goat) eid. The correct word is baqr-eid where baqr = cow.

If you don’t know the difference between k and q, then never mind.
