Welcome to Pakistan

You know you have arrived in Pakistan when you start violating the laws, right at the airport.

There are several possible reasons for this:
    – The think you smell really good.
    – The customers officer/lady is really good looking
    – They think they will get to the counter a lot faster if they are half a meter away rather than 1!

I am sure there are many other possible reasons :P.

not to mention there are people who have well connected family members and friends waiting and are whisked away out of the lines and without immigration stamping in the lines. It probably happens in some other place. I have seen it happen. Even worse, I have seen family of a well connected person-brother high up in the army picked up the at the gate of the aircraft.

So why blame these poor people.

Actually the violation starts at the departing airport itself.

For me personally, violation is not only of rules and laws but that of sight, sound, smell and civility too.

For some odd reason, just the thought of going back to Pakistan gets the hormonal juices flowing for these Paki travelers.

They congregate, they shout, they smell, they appear un-groomed, uncouth and grossly over weight (both physically and materially i.e. baggage). They break lines, they feel your arse standing so close, they push and they shove.

What happens next during the flight, well let us say the lesser said the better. Once back in the land of the pure, all rules and boundaries are shattered.

    @ Doctor,
apparently a cities controlled by ponjabis and rest of the three ethinic groups has the worst record in terms of civic sense and education.

MQM Voters got a literacy rate of 100% – civic senses – we need as a nation to come in terms with it – but how? better enforcement and end of VIP culture would be a welcome sign.

Okay, seriously, get a life! He’s stepping on the line. He’s probably got a shitload of people sticking close to him as well. It’s human nature to utilize space. Note how he’s stepping on the line and not crossing it completely.
