KMCDP [Karachi Mega City Development Project] website review

The website aims to provide information regarding Karachi Mega City Development Project (KMCDP), a project sponsored jointly by Sindh gov. & ADB. Muhammad Ali Yaqoob has this website link in our story suggestion that provides some useful information about the project. Here is my bit on pros & cons of this website.

Pros :
– Very simple & decent design
– Contains all required links & related topics & has proper information.
– Links contain all required contacts
– Project reports, Studies & required documents for download
– Decent photo gallery
– Location & map to office
– Karachi Strategic Development Plan 2020 (Draft) uploaded

– City/District maps are worst than you can imagine. A typical government style of doing work. For GOD sake hire a decent graphic guy
– The disclaimer says that the website ” make no representations, express or implied, as to the accuracy, quality, completeness, security of the information and data contained on this Website”
Isn’t it odd that an official government website is not responsible for these?
– News Ticker is there to make sure you don’t read news (slow it down yar)
– Scanned documents are absolutely non-professional as if a kid uploaded them

Nice post MB. This is under discussion by all the colleagues and when we finish the discussion (please be creative and constructive), we can consolidate the comments and forward to the website administrator to use it for improvement. I dont know what happended to the GIS Maps that they developed last time, and yes they have to have the new maps uploaded at the website. The website seems interesting to me.

Actually there is a new policy implemented last year to keep for the federal govt only. So, .gos, .gop etc were introduced for Govt Of Sindh, Govt of Punjab etc.
(though I am unable to understand the logic)

Yes, the domains are managed by pknic. But they aren’t free like
