well i think it is going to get more messy in that particular area of sh. faisal…..reason being that they have to lay a pipeline under sh. faisal…..they’ve done the job on FTC’s side aswell as the Sadar side…….now they’ll be focussin on sh.faisal…..thats wat i think….coz that is wat it looks like…..
and yeah…..the uturn from saddar exist is pretty smooth…..not much traffic head on from saddar…..ive been using it myself for quite sumtime now….

solution would be to urgently patch up those potholes that were dug for god knows what.. its just sad that they hastily dug up everything and then forget about it..

And I suppose that you, being the ideal Samaritan, would rush to offer your services to improve the traffic, since you’re such an overly concerned citizen??
Sheesh…you need to give the poor guys a break. They work their asses off, okay? It’s not an easy job…and its very thankless. So zip your idealistic notions of traffic control and get back to reality.

Well, what’s the point of having this bridge if all it can do is keep you waiting for 15-20 mins or more. This is exactly what the traffic light at Gora Qabrustan used to do and the bridge was built to avoid that. I wish the traffic police would disappear so the traffic flow is much better. SF suffers the most by the control of the traffic police.

i had to stand in traffic on the same saddar ramp for good 20+ minutes as the traffic is getting heavier there day by day and a policeman was deployed there to control the traffic … so much for short cuts :(

does it mean that most of people on road are KMB readers? :-)

I’d like to thank Tee Emm for making this post, the news is although not new to me as I have already chosen that route a couple of times earlier.

But I like that this news will / is spreading like wild fire, resulting in majority of the traffic to take the hack path, which will clear up the congestion on the regular curve and I like to take that route! :)

Well.. this was a very useful information till a few days ago but sorry to say the situation has altered.. i began taking the same route as mentioned in the post and was very successful in avoiding the traffic jam for a number of days, but it seems that more and more people are making use of the same route and yesterday i had to stand in traffic on the same saddar ramp for good 20+ minutes as the traffic is getting heavier there day by day and a policeman was deployed there to control the traffic … so much for short cuts :(

one thing is for sure,if your friend reads this post he won't be sharing any more secrets with you...and if everyone started using the other ramp then that very same traffic policeman would be deployed on saddar ramp... ;) @Ali Altaf bai's goons will first encroach everything overground then later on will think about anything underground.. http://dawn.com/2008/01/24/local2.htm
