-18 C in Pakistan, place is 21 KM ahead of Kalam called Lake Mahodand, basics vanish after Kalam, and survival itself is an ordeal and Talim Ul Quran Trust manages 15 school~madarsas in that area. not many stay UP there after November 15th but what if world is not enough and some are left with no options.

:) smile you all are invited there ( in summer temp is under 25 C in daytime ) to live in nature, from March 15th till Oct 30th is best bet to enjoy nature and live in woods. running water, enough to eat fresh cooked and breath. Fresh tempting vegies n fruits

This discussion of the Karachi cold brings to my mind an old joke. I would like to share this joke with my friends even though it has no relevance to the Karachi cold temp.

When the boundry between Canada and America was being drawn a guy was very anxious to know which side his small village will go. On knowing that his village has gone to the American side he was seen unduly happy. When asked the reason for his happiness the guy replied: I always hated Canada for its cold weather.

@JAMAL SHAMSI i lives in a country where average winter temperatue is -20. and i have seen -44C in mmy life. The fact is that the longitude and latitude of location plays a big role in weather, so do the humidity level. When we gets -18, the humidity level is up to 80%. But in karachi, with 7 degree celcius and humidity level of 20 degrees makes it feel like freezing. Plus all the places where u see -18 , there public places, houses are quipped with good heating system where as in karachi there is nothing like that. So you cant really compare -18 with karachi's winter situation.

@ Asad Khan

Hot and cold are not absolute units, they are relative. For example, if you usually drink hot tea and someone gives u a warm tea, u will say its cold, but actually its not.
P.S. i am not good at explaining stuff, sarry far that
