But tell me which one is the lesser evil, putting your little ones in a situation where distinction between right and wrong is almost impossible (in fact wrong has become the absolute right) or providing them an environment of values and culture (which we had once...however superficial & hypocritical that might was..... I think) to build their foundation and once they pass through that critical phase & know the difference, expose them to the real world. I think that feels much easy and practical to most of the parents living abroad, especially in west. But if our sanctuaries have become the same as every place else then your argument is right, it doesn't make any difference at all where you brought up your children. So far Indian counter parts are concern, so my friend, they are different, their values and priorities are different. They don't see any bad in becoming like Americans & Brits. If you consider maintaining your ideologies, values and culture hypocrisy, then it's another topic to debate about. Sounds like a cultural shock to me, I really feel sorry for those parents living in US or west who look forward to migrate back to Pak when their kids reach at certain age to save & protect them from the very vice that you guys are mentioning here. Its true that these things were there before but were not exposed and easily accessible as it seems now. It feels like we are on the verge of loosing the only good thing we had & the so called bigots of society are so confused in mimicking the west that they have no remorse and regret of loosing their values.
