Looks like the city government is looking for sponsorships for the traffic police manned intersections….

    I am not sure they will be particularly successful in getting their desired sponsors; after all, who wants to sponsor the creature comforts for those who are responsible for unabashed corruption, extortion and the daily frustrations of thousands? I for one, would not want my organization’s logo on the umbrella under which the so-called individuals of authority enjoy a leisurely nap and tan in the sun. Would you? Me neither.

    Since the police are often found absent from their designated posts, it may not be such a bad idea to advertise there.
