I agree with Adnan & Seskey the cultural invasion has rotten our mental state, as nation we are suffering from Indian Supremacy Syndrome. Those who stand against it are painted as "backward, fundamentalist, complexed souls etc etc etc" what we have failed to inculcate in generation of 70s Onwards is that India is an enemy, and we shall not sleep with eyes, minds and emotions closed. With an enemy like India, we shall sleep with one eye OPEN.

Unless we inculcate the ‘enemity’ in blood & minds of coming generations we cannot get out of Indian Supremacy Syndrome., and Go on further.

who says that allowing indian movies in pakistan is an act of friendship. It is more of an act of inferiority complex. I don’t think bollywood is begging for pakistan to show their movies. The begging, if any, is coming our theater owners who want bollywood movies to be shown so that they can save their theaters.

As for me, yes I love bollywood movies because I am not a hypocrite like most pakistanis. It is OK to watch them in VCD and DVDs, in cables and buses, but not in theaters.

Also why is watching hollywood movies not an act of treason but watching bollywood movies is. As far as I know US has been our bigger enemy than India. So why not reserve the hatred for hollywood movies.

yeah so. India does not seem to behind us in anything despite soft porn movie industry. We seem to be far behind India in almost all aspects.

I admit I don’t know a bit of economics neither is my subject but you failed to figure out that Pakistan is a very attractive market for Indian film makers could earn millions from Pakistan if govt take steps against pirated movies. Pakistanis don’t know lesser about Shahrukh Khan than Indians.

as far as why mentioned actors have not come yet.. i already mentioned reasons which is not economy anyway. Ironically Indians think about India first than any other thing. Something which is not in Pakistanis .
