Reverend Balma Chudhary, I used the language which you can easily decrypt so don't whine If I am behaving same. thanks for getting worried about my future and life partner. Unfortunately(or fortunately), I am already in relation with someone.

As usual you started diverting the topic, when I gave you Cali's example ,you brought gays. Now when the topic (by you) was cousin marriage and creativity then you should stick on it rather jumping here and there.

Let's close this chapter for good. I get convinced that Pakistan faced 1st Martial law due to conflict between a dictator and his wife since both were cousins and were unable to figure out what was he going to do with country.

I also get convinced that Yahya and Co along with Army splitted Pakistan into due to cousin marriage. Nawaz and Benazir looted country and messed with it because they got married with respective cousins. altaf hussain destroyed Karachi after getting married with his cousin Faiza Gabool. Today Pakistan has been facing economic crisis due to Shaukat Aziz who were in relation with a cousin hence unable to make a good policy for Pakistan. We lost kargil due to cousin marriage. PML(Q) got defeated due to two cousins(Shujat and Elahi). you can figure out relation between them.

In short every problem in Pakistan is due to cousin marriage. We are convinced, agreed! Atleast I am. Now shall we move on and can witness some other talent of yours? it's quite boring hearing same rant again and again. Bring some creativity in yourself and I think you could because I assume your mother didn't marry her cousin hence you are creative.

Muhammad Adnan Siddiqi,
Does your mother know the kind of language you use on KMB? More importantly, does any of your cousin sister's mother / father know about your language - abay, koee apnee laRkee nahee'n dae gaa!

Regarding your post, which is very cryptic, I don't know what you are trying to say, but Indians (and I guess you meant Hindus) - I have met at least one Hindu girl (15 years later I must refer to her as a woman :-) ) from UP once who was married to her first cousin for a while.

While first cousin marriages are not so common among Hindus, they have a similar problem when it comes to their preferene for their own caste, zaat, paat, village, zip code. So there gene pool some times is very restricted.

Similarly, Ismalies in Pakistan and India, Parsis (Zorastrians), Bohris, Jews, people in Iceland, even when they are not marrying their first cousins, when marrying within their community are limited to their small communities and this can lead to genetic problems. May be somebody with better knowledge can explain this better.

Mohammad, US is a free country, and like Islam gives people a choice...most of the time. Many states in the US have cousin marriages illegal.

BTW, since you mentioned California, should we give equal rights to gay baradari in Pakistan as well? Should alcohol be freely available too?

If you had read my Gandhi Garden post carefully, you wouldn't have drawn the conclusion you did. But I have to admit this that you know your math!

According to theory of Reverend Balma Chudhary, Indians who mostly come up with creative Ads never marry with their cousins so Asians(Including Pakistanis,Indians and Bangalis) within USoA who played major role in the advancement of US in field of science. According to this source ,California allows cousin marriage, it means most of IT companies in Cali ain't creative(as per Balma's theory).

Balma Chudhary, with reference to your Zoo thread, I assume you are around 40 years old. if some of your "beloved" cousin rejected you due to your insanity and left your "Randwa" for whole life then it doesn't mean all cousins are bad. The error is in you so try to fix it our rather throwing up your frustration here and there.

Muhammad Adnan Siddiqi: Thanks for your insightful tid bits. NOT!

Nadir: Khudkushee may be haram, but the act of jumping from a hill, Habib Bank Plaza, or a desk in school is not haram. That was my point. Cousin marriages may not be haram, but nasal kushee should be!

Also, if Islam teaches moderation (and this is like openning a pandora box), when it comes to drinking 50 glasses in 5 hours, wouldn't same logic apply to cousin marriages generation after generation....what about moderation here?

Vaah, Afreen, shaabaash, ---- you missed the whole point here --- that cousin marriages are contributing to the lack of creativity among desi Muslims....

And, Nadir, one more thing: when you were talking about falling in love with your cousin, you meant female cousin - right?

finally, Faylasuf: that is an Urdu muhaavarah. These days most people are speaking / writing tooti-phooTi english in Urdu, so I am not surprised that many people don't know Urdu muhavaraahs.
