If one can’t walk on the grass or play in the park (according to the notice in picture) then what good is the park for?

Anyways, lets spend few more crores on parks while people kill themselves for food and Karachities spend 48 hours without electricity.

Parks are good for society but to me this notice looks very strange.

"Ghans per chalna manah hai-Park mein her kism ka khail kood manah hai " ((Not allowed to walk on grass-Not at all allowed to play in this park)

maybe they made this park so that criminal governor and his party mates could listen to the demonic speeches of Altaf bai in a secluded environment

Some one should ask criminal governor about the parks in Block D and Block J North Nazimabad illegally encroached and occupied by MQM’s goons.. Ishrat ibad,Ghauri and other MQM ministers bagged 4~6 plots each most of which they have disposed off while retaining the main road commercial plots.

this picture printed in Dawn newspaper clearly shows illegal construction underway on a public playground in Block D North Nazimabad on which Naimatullah khan’s city govt planned to construct a water park, but the current nazim Mustafa Kamal and mqm’s gangsters encroached and occupied the plot and erected boundary wall around the play ground and have started building houses..

to you and doctor the notice looks strange because the part is a gift by Nazim to the ppl of karachi and as the nazim is from MQM everything will be a thorn in your eye… isnt it?

come on for once appreciate if someone is doing any good….!!! and he deserves to be appreciated.. forget about his association with MQM, he is from Karachi and trying his best to change the infrastructure of a city which was always ignored and as for the park….. well if that was a land for park than your so called ex-nazim should have completed it.. and i know a number of so called parks by ex-nazim which are nothing but a trash cans….

@metro i hope you are not trying to justify illegal encroachment by MQM’s terrorists, coz i know MQM’s supporters are so blinded by their love for that absconding grand terrorist that they’d come up with lame justification even for his illegal and criminal activities

The authorities have done an awesome job of converting a stinky piece of land into such a beautiful park! Bravo! It really looks beautiful and so different going through the area. Hope it stays that way

so what constitutes ‘khel kood’ . even if a child starts running around by instinct, the family will be ejected ? ridiculous. is this a mueseum that everyone will just roam around.
doctor, i hate mqm myself and some of the stuff u say is funny and true ‘maybe they made this park so that criminal governor and his party mates could listen to the demonic speeches of Altaf bai in a secluded environment’ ‘illegally encroached and occupied by MQM’s goons’. but u rant so often that it loses meaning. and the rest of the parties are no angels either. ppp is famous for encroachment. in fact, za Bhutto told jam sadiq sarcastically in the 70’s to sell all of Karachi if he wanted to but at least leave quad mazar alone. ‘pir’ pagaro’s sons and grandsons r famous here in Karachi for encroachment.

@altafbest Well i kinda agree with you, rest of them are not saint either, infact at times far more worse then MQM,i simply criticize MQM coz they portray themselves as good guys,so once they starts portraying themselves as angels then they should act like one too and not like a hypocrite. On one hand credit goes to City Govt for getting this park free from non MQM criminals & crooks who had encroached this jheel park ground, on the other hand MQM’s own governor and ministers enchroached, occuppied and illegal constructed houses on a land meant for public park.

Does the residents of Block D and Block J North Nazimabad don’t deserve a lush green park like this jheel park? Infact that area is typically considered pro MQM area,so instead of giving the area residents a lush green park,MQM chooses to stab in their back , ‘You give us votes so this is how we repay you, by encroaching your lands parks and play grounds and messing up the entire neighborhood environment.

Karachi is currently plagued with MQM, nobody cares these days about these jam sadiqs(he was selling lands during his tenure as CM 1990-92) or pir pajero(failed fortune teller – Khalu of Prime minister Gillani- he has married a dozen or so times, one wife from every political family in pakistan)

His granddaughter recently got married to PM Gillani’s son, while Pajero Pir’s own wives ages ranges between 18 ~ 80
