Open Sex Arena: Phase 8, DHA, Karachi

Kids born today due to activities at Do Darya (two rivers, Phase 8, DHA) will surely be a living, futuristic legacy of Gen (r ) Musharraf’s rule.

How? Read below.

Musharraf once announced that women shall be equal to men and that they must receive similar respect as men get (which men, he never told us). Therefore, he announced his famous bill, called Women Bill. The bill was a landmark achievement in the face of strong opposition from mullahs and other tullahs of Parliament and Senate. It said, among other things, freedom of expression (sexual, religious, etc). And lo and behold, people were out dating, doing things, touching, touching more, doing more things, and as we shall know after 20 years, doing lot of things not included in the bill.

Well, I am talking about Phase 8 road where one can see lot of cars with black tinted glasses, parked along the beach front and inside a couple doing things from Hollywood.

Once, when I was passing through that road – and I do it often as we are working on DHA Golf Club and Creek Vista – I saw a girl removing her clothes (the back glass wasn’t tinted well) while the boy waited for an exciting moment ahead. At another time, I saw a couple outside their car, standing and almost kissing. I gawked and passed by. Yet another time, I saw that two policewallas were having fun time with a couple; they were probably asking for money and not sex. But policewallas, atleast from the safe distance of the main road, looked quite glad; couple looked as if that was their moment of truth.

I don’t have any shots of the couples doing things but I will have that soon. I have planned to make a documentary, photographic and video, for foreigners to see and realize that we are already very advanced nation. We can have open sex arena with no one objecting; parents are blissfully unaware of their kids’ kartoots.

Relating to my last post, Is Karachi ready for Osama bin Laden, I would like to add that atleast Taliban and Osama bhai won’t allow this to happen and we will be able to INSHALLAH control our population.

    Timings for this Arena:

Open 24 hours. Anyone can come along with a tinted glass and do things. No stopping you. Cloudy days are more romantic than sunny days; rainy days produce twins.

Gallery viewable with 300mm lens (canon is good); use with care and while viewing use tinted glasses so that the couple does not mind. Post photographs at KMB. Altaf bhai will surely be proud of his city.

I mean are you nuts? Its freedom of expression – leave them what they do? looser! get a life!

  4. bozz on August 5th, 2008 @ 11:23 pm

I am glad to read that you have matured enough to realize that people have pee pee parts and that these are not only used for pee-ing.

So what is the big deal. Out of a population of 17 million people, your peeping tom eyes caught a couple of them. Hurray for you. If you believe that sex and lust did not exist or was not displayed during the times of the prophets, think again.

Oh sorry, we are Muslims, we do not indulge in sex, we only do things. Grow up please.

You long for your Osama bhai, why not go to him. Try FATA or some areas of Afghanistan. Don’t be a whiner. Do something about the vacuum in your life.

Pull your pants or shalwar or whatever you wear above your ankles, don a turban and pick up a stick to whip women and children in the streets and you would have emulated your idols.

  5. ameerhamza on August 5th, 2008 @ 11:28 pm

bozz: Lust is natural so are other things mentioned. By the way, they were not couple of couples but lot of them. And everyday they tend to increase. My concern is that if you want to do things do them in your beds and not besides main road. It gives really a bad impression. What will gora think? They have no beds!

  6. bozz on August 5th, 2008 @ 11:38 pm

No the ‘goras’ will think better not mess with these ‘chapatis’ or else they will screw us by the road side.

What you do not understand is that, doing the ‘things’ in bed gets boring after a while. Even psychologist and therapists suggest change of venue to keep the excitement levels up. This is a fact. And in our mundane life who can blame them. A bit of adrenaline rush does wonders both for the mind and body.

  7. sooo on August 5th, 2008 @ 11:48 pm

Ameer Hamza, I mean to be rude and I was very disgusted by your post. I didn’t realize that being a blogger gave you the right to look into peoples tinted (ever wondered why people tint their cars? no, not to have sex but rather so that people like you would stop looking into their cars) and wait "I saw a girl removing her clothes" WHY DIDNT YOU HAVE THE DECENCY TO LOOK AWAY IF YOU WERE SO DISTURBED BY THIS? Oh and you want to take your camera next time? So you can substitute those snaps for your porn? That you don’t watch because its wrong? But you watch girls taking their shirts off? Right?

AND WHAT DOES WOMANS BILL HAVE TO DO WITH ANY OF THAT? And you make is sound like it was okay that the guy was under the girl but rather the girl should have not been there, why is that? Why does your post start with WOMANS BILL?

Oh and don’t try cover up the porn movie you’re trying to make by saying, "I have planned to make a documentary, photographic and video, for foreigners to see and realize that we are already very advanced nation." because the foreigners don’t really care, its probably perverts like you who are going to watch it and get some retarded pleasure from it.

Oh btw, since when is sitting in their car, WHATEVER THEY MAY BE DOING, on a public road that doesn’t belong to you Ameer Hamzah, become any of your business? Since you write on Metro Blogging? How to report you anyway so I can have you kicked of this site? Its idiots like you that lead to people going on national television and getting away with saying stuff like, "Pakistan is breeding grounds for terrorists and fundamental extremists." It is also because of people like YOU that ACTUAL educated Muslims from Pakistan have to go through extra security checks at airports all over the world and that they end up not being able to go abroad to get decent education.

And you REALLY want to post "I would like to add that atleast Taliban and Osama bhai won’t allow this to happen and we will be able to INSHALLAH control our population." on a BLOG that REPRESENTS KARACHI? Des your pee (pun intended) sized brain comprehend the implications of that sentence for millions of other people not only in Karachi but also in Pakistan.

So Ameer Hamzah, I wish that you would get off your computer and go sit in a mosque and I will find a way to get you removed as a blogger on this site. I really hope to never read a post from you again. It was horrible reading and commenting on your post.

  8. balma on August 6th, 2008 @ 12:51 am

    Ammer Hamza,

What is your academic qualification? High school graduate? Matriculate? Middle school?

Also, are there any qualification standards for people to become authors on KMB?

  9. hbrehman on August 6th, 2008 @ 12:53 am

I like the way this is going… a very interesting discussion….
i totally agree with the blogger who said that people in the past were involved in all such activities…. and im totally against the point of view of the author too….. everyone has the right to do what they want…. even if itz wrong….. it not ur place to decide for them….

  10. balma on August 6th, 2008 @ 12:55 am

Ameer Hamza has tried to market water proofing products he retails at some shop in or close to Korangi, on this blog earlier. This could be used against him to kick him out.
    Take note, sooo.

  11. muzz on August 6th, 2008 @ 12:57 am

totally agree with sooo, dude seriously bad post and you should NOT write again! atleast not on this website, you do not reflect the views of people living in karachi, needles to say what they were doing is wrong but who are you to take their pictures and show it to goras? and why show it to goras?? dude goras are delivering their babies in public toilets when the age of mother is 14-16 years old, they are way more messed up than us, and you should seriously worry about what you will do for a living because i dont think Osama Bhai will allow golf clubs

  12. mastqalandar on August 6th, 2008 @ 1:04 am

    Ameer Hamza,

when some one is busy groping in their cars then atleast they should not complain about being watched.. you don’t expect other drivers to close their eyes while driving do you?

  17. obiwankenobe on August 6th, 2008 @ 1:46 am

The posts like this make me miss Karachi so much :-( … I am so moving back to Karachi to enjoy all these car fun. Can you please mark the exact location on Karachi Google Maps for us ignorants ? Keep it up buddy, you are helping lot of guys to know where these things are happening and what is the safe place to have car sex.

as you’ve said it yourself its a friggin public road and not a public brothel in which these people can entertain other drivers with a strip show

  20. d0ct0r on August 6th, 2008 @ 2:02 am

see obiwankenobe is stuck in a place where strip shows don’t take places on a public road,so for his intimate needs poor guy has no choice but to look towards karachi roads..

  23. shobz on August 6th, 2008 @ 4:24 am

i think the quality of writing at kmb has gone down drastically. this piece is supposed to be taking pot shots at people who cant keep it in their pants and yet i dont find this piece interesting. I believe that the writer has not done his research properly before writing. It is blatantly obvious that this piece is one sided. I don’t understand why people just come up with stuff like that. People are always gonna be ready to have some fun and they go to deserted places so they can "express" themselves. It has nothing to do with the so called women’s bill. Modernization of the nation does not mean people have to throw away their morals. It’s all part of human nature for people to do what they want to do. One can’t become some sort of vigilante and go and take pictures of what they are doing. Who are we to judge others anyway? We should focus on the good or bad we do instead of pointing fingers at others. I really think you need to get a life and focus on your work otherwise you will spend too much time obsessing over it and not do anything productive for the company you are working for. It doesnt make sense making someone a scapegoat as people will always look for new ways to make out.

  24. ayasu on August 6th, 2008 @ 5:09 am

This post is absurd– completely beneath any standards that this blog wishes to adhere to.
The blogger "blames" this situation on the Women’s Bill passed by Musharraf — can he please explain how and why he thinks this bill is directly responsible for actions that he deems so detrimental to society?

Who follows the law anyway???? And its completely ridiculous to think that the law’s leniency on women gives them the power to do whatever they want– how are women granted any such rights (except perhaps in particular social classes). I think your resentment of this issues stems more from a class-based issue rather than a moral or religious one. A valid question would be would these young individuals be comfortable showing public displays of affection in a different locality?

  25. ayasu on August 6th, 2008 @ 5:13 am

Also, Umro-Ayyar, there shouldn’t be any academic qualification for bloggers on KMB. Your post suggests high-school, middle school and especially matriculate graduates don’t have the common decency or are not well versed to comment on important social and political issues?

  26. azafeer on August 6th, 2008 @ 6:26 am

u are totally buts and weird and a pure pervert. ive been reading all your recent post and as well as the so called doctor’s post. horrible sense of thought. get a life u loser and stop peeking in cars and what not. do you also do that at home? i hope not. and as far as the taliban thing is considered, man somebody should really fry ur pathetic ass!!! again get a life u loser. these things have been in pakistan for decades. go conquer heera mandi first with doctor. maybe ull find ur roots there. again get a life u two.

I am all for car sex(it’s quite popular fetish all over the world, just search youtube) but I wonder how these people calling Hamza sick and pervert would react when they find out their wives and sisters are warming some one’s car seats. Yeah I used "wives" purposely because sadly this was I saw in my last trip in Karachi in winter. If you have gotta money then you could have all fun in your car.

Thank you Hamza for this post seriously, we should know what is going on. And just today I was talking to a kid who was so excited that next month she would be joining her A level classes and that would give her to opportunity to hook with the people who would introduce her to drugs.

Looking forward to more parts of this series :-).

    Good work Hamza

At least I agree that this should not happen, and I would say that people going against it at the moment will regret doing this when their own mother, sister, wife or daughter would be in one of those cars, and someone would tell them "the story" with some spices. Currently these people don’t like to be criticised for their wrongs.

Heads for pointing a finger on a bad thing, but don’t need to post their pictures.

this sort of thing happens everywhere — in all cities of the world, but it doesn’t make sense for people to all want to gather in the same well known spot if what they seek is discretion. After this blog post, I wonder if lovers will continue to congregate at the location you describe. In terms of the ethical aspects of posting this, I think this sort of information is an important window into the socio-cultural environment of Karachi — how its changing — after all, where and how lovers meet is about as important a societal necessity as the growing of food.

  37. 0mzy on August 6th, 2008 @ 11:30 am

Hey there mate… All I can say to you is live and let live… Y blame Musharraf??? did this not happen when he was not in power??? Did people not sneak out to go on dates then??? did they not have sex in whatever little place they could find??? come on man grow up…

This kinda thing happens every where and to be honest the more you try to oppress is the harder its gonna smack you in the face… This is reality people want change people want their freedom good or bad…

As for blaming the west or Hollywood as you put it I say we stop doing that coz majority of our population is the Bollywood generation and well I have seen some stuff even Hollywood has yet to catch up with ;)

Why dont we ever blame Lollywood??? have you not seen those obscene mujras you find all over youtube and else where? and hey I think a girl taking off her shirt nothing out of a Hollywood movie we all do it :) so relax mate and enjoy the ride the people are way too frustrated already let them be we dont need another Osama we already in too much dodo.

You are promising to post photos of couples making out in remote corners of secluded beach? If anything, it makes you a voyeur par excellence (Now go and look up that word in the dictionary, shabash)

Dude grow up, it happens everywhere. In Iran under sharia as well. If Taliban comes, it will probably continue to happen but it will not be consensual, a concept quite alien to people here.

    2 extremes, Islam or Liberalism.

Since way before Musharraf and the Hadood Law, INTERNET mIRC OPENED a pandoras box, allowed distant friendships, cybersex role playing, webcam sex and mongering, people did it the BEST in Metros of Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Pindi, Sialkot, Faisalabad,

Madiha Gohar did a great documentary on the Mongering, One night stand and TEEN GF-BF sexual relationship scene, – The then DIG Lahore Mr. Vahidi played a pivotal role in spotting and highlighting the SPOTS in Lahore.

Cable TV, lack of education, sexual Lust & Frustration with lack of Privacy., turnout such spots as lover’s lane, etc etc etc. In 70’s Lilly Bridge was notorious for such acts.

That Particular street heading towards DHA Golf course is NOTORIOUS for such acts since before the GOLF CLUB came into being., before that people use to ‘indulge’ in ‘act’ very next to marina club and as far as upto the curve where the floating pipes are, may be Ameerhamza was in his knickers at that time.

Dude – Flesh trade and sexual activities exist, legal & illegal across the globe., and this is the OLDEST profession of material world.

    – on the other note – Allah ham sab ko Aqalay Saleem ata karay, achay ko acha aur buray ko bura kehnay ke Himmat ata far-maay. Ameen

Ameer Hamza, I would like you to respond to every point in my comment, not just one. And i’m sure you have time, unless ofcourse you’re busy being peeping tom and are looking into your neighbors window while he has sex with his wife.

And you probably did watch longer is you saw that "the boy waited for an exciting moment ahead." You are a perv aren’t you? Do your parents know that you saw this and plan to expose it. Make it dinner conversation, let me know how it turns out.

Oh and, the children will born there (Have you heard of contraceptives? If you haven’t you either need to talk to your dad about it or go to a family planning clinic) will probably have a brighter future than you considering the fact that their parents can afford tinted windows.

Star Wars wanna be retard, how can you say the people in the car are not married TO EACH OTHER? Or maybe they are not married at all. How is it any of your concern porn obsessed retard. Go you tube some porn and watch it because you’re obviously incapable of getting any.

And may I ask why InshaAllah was written in bold. Peeping Tom Assholes like can not hide behind overt religiosity. Shame on you for the lamest of the lamest post. Please go to FATA where amongst your be=rothern you will feel very safe. And no sex in cars there. At least with women.

  47. bergundytomato on August 6th, 2008 @ 7:56 pm

However, disagreeable I might find this post, I do not think banning the writer will solve anything. If anything, such posts highlight modes of thinking, which however unpleasant, exist in our society.

The best response to things that the majority disagree with (and moderates I believe exist in the majority, despite their silence in the face of the polar opposites of elitist liberalism and disgruntled (however they may be motivated) fanaticism) is to voice that disagreement. Things are never black or white, just shades of gray.

So the individual in question has adopted peeping tom as his role-model. Despite the unpleasantness of his acts, he is technically not wrong to be doing what he is doing because it is public space. If the couples in question choose to do that in public, they always run the risk. People all over the world know that. Even if he is technically right, he is morally wrong to be doing what he is doing. Live and let live is a maxim that should have been followed and yet isn’t; since people all over the world, let alone Pakistan, exercise the saying to their advantage.

My point here is, this is an opportunity to engage in meaningful debate. The evidence here points to there being none however. But I see this positively somehow. The paradigm runs something like a deeply popularly/repulsive thing being said and then being roundly criticized. That, in a nutshell, is democracy. Banning would be something like sweeping stuff under the rug.

If there are people who think like this, no amount of obliviousness will rid of them. They are as much citizens of this state as we are, even if they might be wrong. Let them exercise their right to expression and use our own right to expression to fight for what we believe is right. I sincerely believe this country is full of good people who will do what is the right thing.

PS the last two lines were hilarious though; "I would like to add that atleast Taliban and Osama bhai won’t allow this to happen and we will be able to INSHALLAH control our population." control our population? lol does he refer to controlling the population size or the very same things, most fundos do whenever its convenient for them (mostly forcefully)? lol, in any case, ludicrous!

  48. obiwankenobe on August 6th, 2008 @ 8:40 pm

There are three levels of Imaan.

1- When you see evil, you stop it with your action.
2- If you can’t stop it, oppose it with argument.
3- Even if you can’t do it then at least oppose it in heart.

So we all know where do we stand.

Islam preaches "live and let live" as long as you do what ever you want within boundary, if you come on road and do it then it has to be stopped.
Human beings are not dogs, they should have some dignity.

I am sure you can’t make out in car in Dubai publicly. I can also assure you if there is any spot famous for such activities even in US then cops would make sure that these things don’t exist at least at that place.

May Allah shows all of us right path.

  49. mastqalandar on August 6th, 2008 @ 9:09 pm

I think our society should promote early marriages (not earlier than 18). Why we make every thing hard. If we can fulfil our desires and still be within the allowed boundaries then why not?….

But our parents are happy that their son (or daughter) is on a career path and they don’t think that their kids should marry until after the age of 30. Until then, they can f#ck around as much as they want as long as there are *no consequences*.

This post is neither pathetic nor great, its simplay a post which ameerhamza wanted to post on KMB and want us to read and respond, well, he is successful in getting our feedback, more tha 50 comments!!!! not bad at all.

Just want to ask one thing from everyone on KMB, how many of us have not indulged in these acts (which ammerhamza watched and reported) and how many of us have not thought about doing it???

Making it out on road or doing it outside wedlock is a matter of personal choice. No third party has to do anything to this affair. Atleat realize that all of the couples had decency of having tinted windows.

Lastly, dont be so curious about, ‘what goora has to say?" tou bhai looh, goora have stoped visiting Karachi long back, whatever goraas you are seeing in Bathisland and surrounding areas, will soon be gone, see this:\08\06\story_6-8-2008_pg1_4,

People like Ameer Hamza are threat to our nation and are working on RAW’s agenda to destabilize Pakistan, with his stupid views he can only criticize on Musharraf and MQM, people like him simply can’t accept the fact that our country had prospered so much in last eight years or so. He’s living in Karachi but is so freaking blind that he can’t see the developments, the measures that last government took and made our city so beautiful like it had never been, he can’t accept the fact that it took only six months for this newly elected govt to simply ruin all of it, he’s been brain washed or probably hate PAKISTAN and don’t want our country to prosper.

People like him won’t ever accept the fact that how difficult situation our country is going through, people are dying cause of this mehengai, frustration, instability is there but he’s suggesting to take the snaps of the people making out in DHA phase 8, he probably thinks once Musharraf is gone everything will be controlled, wrong my friend you need to come out of this Fool’s paradise that you have been living in, with his stupid photographs and criticism this guy I don’t think has ever done anything or can do in his entire life.

To be honest Mr. Hamza I strongly believe you need to consult with a psychiatrist, a good one because you need it and trust me it will help you in opening the blocks in your mind. Musharraf has nothing to do with tinted glasses and people making out, this is happening in Khi since ages my friend it’s just you who is sick of your photography and have become a pervert now, watching others n enjoying does it make any sense ? What kind of a man you are encouraging others to take the photographs of such activities ? this photography has overtaken you mind and wants you to capture everything lol.

Who has made him an author ? does he qualify for this job ? or it’s just the monopoly of bloggers and other authors, favoritism or what ? I strongly demands him to be removed as an author on immediate basis because I have never seen this guy posting anything positive.

  55. bozz on August 7th, 2008 @ 11:45 am

Actually no, people like the author are very much needed. Knowing that people with minds like that are out there, justifies my existence and fires up my resistance.

Ohhh, because Musharraf is THE PRESIDENT AND SINCE ALTAF supports him, people should close their eyes and embrace all the vice going around in their hoods?

And because MQM’s mayor has built the bridges in the city, then every one should forget their ill deeds?

Why can’t we just support the good deeds of all and discourage the bad deeds of all?

The prosperity MUSH brought is paid by the blood of victims like Dr Afia and so many people who are facing the Dajjal of our time.

I wonder why do they use cars for love making? I mean when they have good cards then can’t they have a room on rent?

  58. obiwankenobe on August 7th, 2008 @ 9:01 pm

Adnan, back in 2000 those stupid hotels(PC/Sheraton) asked me to produce nikah nama (WTF) for my guests from other city but I was told that you can get room in Carlton hotel w/o any hassle and it was like 3K at that time so may be it is too much for some people for 10 minute thing. When I was in Karachi last dec, my friend told me he could get me a room in Carlton on hourly basis. I guess you need links for that. Sure we are moving forward.

    Few comments:

srhasan said: ‘What an ass of an article! No objectivity, pathetic post. How come people as infantile and parochial are allowed to write on KMB’

You may use better English than that. How come people like Altaf and Musharraf and Zardari are ruling us? Moral: Every one should be given a chance.

alijafri said: ‘To be honest Mr. Hamza I strongly believe you need to consult with a psychiatrist, a good one because you need it and trust me it will help you in opening the blocks in your mind’

I would have consulted a psychiatrist but they appear to be very expensive. And, what blocks are you talking about. Most of the blocks were whisked away by MQM gundas and fundas. One report says that 1 month before election MQM city govt. took away property worth 4 billion rs. That looks insignificant to you.

    How rightly said. Thank you.

Adnan Siddiqui commented: ‘Atleast Hamza is quite active in his own posts. Something which is not found in other authors of this blog. Keep it up Hamza!’

Well, thank you Adnan for keeping me up.

Hello Everyone. I have till now just read KMB, and never had a chance to post, mostly because I was never able to register successfully, as the link on KMB always just takes you to login. With some help, I was able to signup today to post a comment to this post.

Over the period of time, as someone said, KMB has become degraded. This is true of any thing that is not handled or managed properly. However, I am no one to pass judgement, and as such people here have already commented on this.

Coming to just this particular post, there are two angles from which you can aproach this issue. One is that of religion, the other is that of morality and what and how we want to appear as a nation. There is people from different faith in our society, and every school of thought. Which is what makes us such a wonderful community. It just nothing but saddens me to see flaming posts blaming each other, like there is nothing left in the world to do but fight. I am pretty sure, I will be flamed for whatever I write, but atleast I would have written my thoughts.

Back to the issue, religion (no matter which) always teaches modesty, or what we call "Sharm-O-Haya". Whether tinted or not, having sex or making love, whichever way you like to call it, is something that has been taught to be done indoors. While I completely understand, when people say change is necessary to keep the flare up, but then religion never intended it to be a flame, rather more like a tool to bring people into this world. From our religion’s aspect, its more like this world for which everyone is fighting so much is just a testing place, where everyone is being tested, until the day of the result comes. Sadly enough, pretty much everyone has forgotten, that what they think is right is in actuality right or not? Whether there will be a day when they will have to pay for it or not? Whether "Azaab-e-Kabr" is something thats going to happen because of what one is doing today or not? One can go on, but briefly this is pretty much the religous aspect of it. I havent gone into and wont go into specifics or details of the religion, just because it depends greatly on how much you follow or want to follow. Thats why we have been given something that no other creature created has been given. Choice.

Moral side of this also states, that if you want to do this, atleast make sure that nobody else is able to watch (and try to avoid doing it publicly). There was a time, when nobody would have even thought about this, but we live in a free world (pretty much as we like to think about it). So, yes people like to and want to try different and new things out. Again, not going into specifics about wrong or right relations. This is for one’s own self to decide. Thats why there is that thing called conscience. We all know for the most part what happens to girls or for that matter even boys, who go down this road eventually. A small period of happiness, emotion, tranquility, peace followed by a lifelong feeling of either regret or heartbreak, or something else that just does not feel right, no matter how much you kill and press that feeling.

Whatever is happening today, eventually was going to happen. Times change, and with that all the things that are associated with time. What we as a nation forgot was to go along with time, while keeping our values intact. Look around you, what is happening? Everyone just keeps on complaining. Everybody has lost patience. There is anarchy and chaos all around. Offcourse, the government is busy in its own problems, whatever they are. But then again, as far as without taking the law in one’s own hand, people are trying to do the best that they can.

Then why cant we as a nation come together? Forget whatever happened in the past, stop blaming each other, stop complaining and move forward as a good nation? Some might say I am talking along the lines of a utopian society, but then again, why cant we think of atleast moving towards becoming one? Yes, there are problems, Yes, there are enemies, Yes, there are those who dont want to see us stand united, and progress but then again, the choice of that remains with us.

The only thing, I would want for my country is for it to progress, move forward, more people to get educated, access to food, water and energy. While I am not in a place to do much, I am still trying whatever little I can in doing my part, and I am sure, pretty much whoever is even a little educated has that little desire somewhere, which is pressed by the more immediate needs of family and one’s own self, but atleast the will and desire is there, and that will has shown itself in times of natural disasters.

So why argue about small things? True, we are told to stop bad things from happening in the first place, first by hand, or by tongue, if not that just feel wrong and move away, but then for this to be implemented, we need to have that kind of atmosphere as well, dont we? Otherwise it will only result in more bad things happening.

Good and bad has existed since the start of time and will remain till the end of time. Religion, teaches us, whats good and whats bad. What we can and cant do. After that, it leaves it to one’s own choice what one wants to do with clear warnings and nothing else. As for the bad deeds some show result in this world, rest will after death.

Its become a long post from where it started, but just a combination of feelings that I felt after reading this thread. As for bringing this matter to light, I dont know. One can take it both ways. It becomes an interesting read for some, and well a point to argue for some. Needless to say these things cant be hidden for long, so why not use this as tool for good for what is right, but spreading awareness in a more positive way.

    Just some food for thought.

  61. obiwankenobe on August 8th, 2008 @ 10:16 am

Those people who argue that people are doing on roads for change should get real. We all know that they are not married couples and only change could be different gal in same car every month or so.

  62. bergundytomato on August 9th, 2008 @ 12:43 am

    Just a thought;

Isn’t it funny we can debate over something that, despite being immoral, isn’t really hurting somebody; and that nobody talks about how violence against women, rape, murders (here and in the Northern Areas), governmental helplessness, insecurity for the common man and sheer lack of common action being taken are ripping this country apart?

  63. expat on August 9th, 2008 @ 3:10 am

Religion has always downplayed sex as something that is dirty, should not be enjoyed, always to be kept under wraps, a tool only to be used for procreation. Sex is a very enjoyable activity. It produces the effect of wonderfulness (for lack of better word). During sex your body releases these chemicals in your body that give a sense of happiness and well being.

From a moral point of view if the sex is between two consenting adults there is no issue with it.

There are laws in every country about "indecent" behavior in public. You will be hauled off to the police precinct for having sex in a public place anywhere in the world, tinted car or not.

Let me tell you a small true story. This happened in Berkeley during the early nineties. (Google “naked guy, Berkeley” and you can read all about him).University of California in Berkeley is one of the top institutions in US and in the world. Free speech movement and movement against Vietnam War all started from Berkeley. It used to be a pretty radical place. Neither the University nor the City of Berkeley had any anti nudity laws. City of Berkeley still does not (I think). So this student decided to attend classes in the nude. This caused uproar in some of the student body. The Regents of the University had to call a special secession to pass anti-nudity law. Eventually he was kicked out of the University, but the City of Berkeley never prosecuted him for walking around nude. The City Prosecutor said that nudity without any lewd act is harmless.

The point is that in a radical City like Berkeley if you are engaging in sex in a public area or in a tinted car, both of which are noticeable you will be prosecuted.

Now an area like the one mentioned in the post is known to be area where people go for risqué behavior, why jeopardize yourself and your “Izzat” by going there. I would say it is shear stupidity to go there and get caught.

And lastly I sincerely hope that all these people are using some form of protection, from sexually transmitted diseases and guarding against pregnancy also. Birth control pills will not guard you against sexually transmitted diseases. I believe that we have quite a high incidence of Hepatitis and Syphilis. Herpes is a non-curable disease. You can catch Herpes even if you are using prophylactics.

    Just my 4 anas.

  64. bozz on August 9th, 2008 @ 7:54 pm

"they are not married couples and only change could be different gal in same car every month or so" just these words are so refreshing except every other month is a wee bit too long to wait.

@bergundytomato – Now I hear what you say, loud and clear. And I say, there goes a scholar.

  65. muhshusa on September 4th, 2008 @ 2:16 pm

Actually what I think is that every one has the right to say and write anything he wants unless and untill it is racial , discriminatory or hurting anyone.
I guess this kinda funny post has made many people smile and people enjoyed this thread , so all of u hypocrates stop this nonsense and stop trying to stop this person from writing.
    Gr8 work Man !! keep it up…………….

P.S : Please post some photos as evidence :))
