People who don’t belong from karachi like teeth should be ashamed of what they are posting here.

  8. tzaidi on September 17th, 2008 @ 8:05 pm

how may of you have done anything for Karachi?? I guess you have not done a single good deed to help the city or to make its image good in eyes of others.

So stop making fun of people who are atleast doing something, whether at Zamzama aur Mazar-e-quaid.

  9. balma on September 17th, 2008 @ 8:55 pm

    * Build mosques…..

No thanks. That is one thing Karachi wallas should not do at all.
We have too many mosques in Karachi, 75 % of them built illegally and on illegally occupied land.

Instead some of the mosques should be converted into normal schools.
itnee masjidai’n banaanay kaa kyaa faaidah jub poori qaum chore hae!
Education is more improtant than masjids.

I think this program "I own karachi" needs appreciation and the girls working for it does not needs to be commented on like this. Whenever a person in our nation comes up with a solution all of us engages ourselves in figuring out the drawbacks of it. Step up and think positively yaar, all of the abstacles will be diminished then! And by the way it takes courage and dedication to do something like this and commenting on it in a nasty way takes nothing. And these pathans on the roadside staring at the girls would have been doing the same even when girls are simply passing by, so just brush them aside.

  15. judge on September 18th, 2008 @ 9:02 am

why only zamzama, infact that place is so narrow it does not need any traffic warden in any case. People manage it with patience on their own

my OBJECTION – SUO MOTO Action & verdict is about why only these girls wardens are deployed and snapped for newspapers, when they are on zamzama,.

Ladies shall be on watch in shopping areas where eve teasing is menace. for the traffic these ladies need one extra whole police mobile with staff alongside. The male wardens can do better with help of one head-constable managing them, these ladies shall be assigned duties where the women are harrased, not on the roads where they become object of FUN, khalas, court is adjounred. (THAK THAK THAK)

uff. you people are so petty. complain complain thats all you know how to do. This is hopefully a great beginning! And of you that are not complain maybe will take up this cause and so something in YOUR area of town.
    Great post Teeth Maestro

  17. mvohras on September 18th, 2008 @ 3:36 pm

Any thing starts from somewhere, please adopt the policy ‘Think Positive’ atleast if you can’t go/own something yourself.
Why at zamzama is a lame argument, PPls belong to bandar road should serve bandar road and hence other areas. This should be the MOTO of scheme and if you think positive it will be end up at good note.

  18. d0ct0r on September 18th, 2008 @ 5:00 pm

Imagine if that guy leaning against the police mobile staring at these girls is assigned the job instead of these girls then the ‘sensitive’ residents of Zamzama and their guards might mistake him for a mobile snatcher and might shot him down,So that could be one of the reason that they want to portray a ‘soft image’ of community police.

Although i despise discussing ethnicity of others but as pathans have been already mentioned, can some one count pathans visible in this pic..I hope you are not mistaking that guy leaning against the police mobile staring for a pathan.

p.s. a photographer with tripod is also visible behind the mobile.

  19. d0ct0r on September 18th, 2008 @ 5:15 pm

    *might shoot him*

  20. shoaib on September 19th, 2008 @ 1:34 am

come on be positive. You have the habit of jeopardising every thing. Such a pathetic person
Lets appreciate a positive thing. One day, you, me and all the folks will join this. I have the to say someone has to start and how shameful is that they are doing work and we are making fun out of it, shame and just shame.

  21. wkhang on September 19th, 2008 @ 5:23 am

    @ maha (mahasyed),

Agreed with you…..I salute ya all of doing some job…

  22. judge on September 19th, 2008 @ 3:26 pm

neoka & mahasyed life is just not across the bridge, cross the bridge, try and manage it on governer house roundabout, shaheen complex roundabout, zainub market, lucky star, abdualla haroon road,

it is about owning the problems and sorting them out without being biased, liyari is as equally part of Greater Karachi since 1940s’ then any new developed settlement.

this bastard teeth is facist, a racist it is written on his face his body language explains it he forgot his own family background where his grandfather belong too.

no one bothered to snap the volunteers of community police performing at Mauripur road, Tower, Kharadar, Bander road, jama cloth market, gurumandir, jail road, university road.

    fuck you gando teeth

I can not, but smile at your keen observation. I think the post and comments proved the point teeth wanted to put forward.

We the Men of Pakistan are "Tharki" as hell…

If Zardari can go to US just to hug the peri-peri vice president.. why can’t the guys go to zamzama… Is it out of bound? or "Tharak" is just a Presidential prerogative?

@judge: you should apologize from Teeth.. read your comments again, you were angry when you wrote this..
