So more committees will be set up.

“Oh what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive”

Formation of committees is the first refuge of a scoundrel. He knows all about committees which follows and much more which does not follow:

A committee is a cul-de-sac down which ideas are lured and then quietly strangled.
Barnett Cock

A committee is a group of people who individually can do nothing, but who, as a group, can meet and decide that nothing can be done.
Anonymous

A committee is an animal with four back legs.
John Le Carre

A committee is organic rather than mechanical in its nature: it is not a structure but a plant. It takes root and grows, it flowers, wilts, and dies, scattering the seed from which other committees will bloom in their turn.

well in his address to the joint session he said:

i think (that) i thank parliament and all the 4 assemblies for electing me as their president :P

Overall it was a good speech of course if he really meant what he said because he has a habit of back out from his words..

*
We hope that this time he is going to cover his tracks rather well.

****

oh, you mean he will be wiser this time and come up with another strategy than just using 3M's sticky notes?

By the way, I agree with Kabirdas' suggestions that people should write comments in a language they are comfortable with.

I am not a Zardari fan but I believe that we need to exercise some patience and restraint at this crucial juncture. To keep everything in its perspective, Mr. Zardari is not unique. He has done nothing really out of the ordinary not done by other Pakistani politicians, both past and current.

Mr. Zardari is now more mature, methodical and calculating. We hope that this time he is going to cover his tracks rather well. He seems qualified (previous experiances of decision making) enough and we reluctantly share the establishment’s belief that he has been fully rehabilitated. Liberal and moderate, a diamond in the rough, indeed. At a same time, Zardari is a victim of Punjabi Proganda Machine aka the PTV of 90’s like MQM and Altaf Hussain.

down with punjabi-gardi

@ barristerakc on September 19th.

You say: Arguments are to be avoided; they are always vulgar and often convincing.
I say: So you agree the arguments in this case are convincing notwithstanding the fact that they may be vulgar. An argument is generally vulgar when it is put forward to defend something which is indefensible or to mislead others; seldom otherwise.

You say: I still remember how former British Prime Minister Tony Blair spelled the word tomorrow wrongly, instead writing "toomorrow". What was even worse, he made the mistake three times in the letter.
I say: a)Two wrongs don't make one right. b) It some time happens that we make this kind of mistake and then keep repeating it a number of times in the same document. It is like saying 5 plus 8 is 14 and keep repeating it a number of times in the same sum. It is altogether a different kind of mistake. c) Please be advised right and wrong are relative. How do you spell 'sugar'? Suppose Zaid spells it p-q-z-z-f and Bakar spells it s-h-u-g-r. Both are wrong, but is there any doubt that Zaid is 'wronger' than 'Bakar' d) In the last line of your last para you have spelled 'their' as 'there'. Now, that is called a typo. For this we won't say that you can't be the President of Pakistan:-) e) Many people can make a mistake writing a 8 letter word but hardly anyone except the President of Pakistan will make a mistake in writing a three letter word and that too a word like 'God'.

You say: I think Teeth Maestro & Co. (95% of the hand-picked authors) on this forum and alias such as doctor and ameer hamza are bent upon demonizing and abusing anyone and everyone who are remotely against there views.
I say: Your accusation is wrong. Only an uneducated person can spell God as anything else. You try to spell CAT in anyother way. So briefly I would say don't defend something which is indefensible(?). Let them call a spade a spade.
