Minority groups in Pakistan are going to continue blaming the Punjabis as long as Punjabis pursue their unrealistic goals of hegemony and domination. The oppressed people will continue to detest the Punjabis as long as the Punjabi-dominated Paki army continues to commit violence, murders, rapes, looting, and arson in the homes of Pakistanis who happen to be non-Punjabis. Have you noticed that this Paki Army has NEVER committed the violence and murders at the scale that it has perpetrated its oppression against Bengalis, Mohajirs, Sindhis, Baluchis, and Pathans.

And that’s why Mohajir Nationalism, Baloch Nationalism, Sindhi Nationalism is justified.

@Khaled90, Punjabi Nationalism is around pre-partition and so does Pakhtoonism, Baluchism, Sindhi-ism and the latest Mohajirism. There is nothing wrong with being a nationalist unless the politicians try to leverage it and, other causes like religion, language and race to promote their screwed up ideologies / goals.

In an unstable country like Pakistan all of these factors are in play and being exploited by various groups. Some are working on a long term agenda of religious revolution others use them for petty objectives like victory in the next elections. Right now unstable alliances are forming between the so called progressive-lefties like PPP, MQM and ANP on one side and (religio-right) Muslim League Nawaz, Jamaat-e-Islami and PTI on the other. The problem is that none of them trust each other, hence, they cannot work together to take this nation forward. Since PML, PTI and JI have pretty much shrunked to Punjab, so they will have to carry that stigma with them. Furthermore, none of the above parties have control of the North (which is now owned by our Arab guests). On top of all this, are the media folks and the lawyers who are running around like mad dogs biting everything in their path, creating even more confusion.

The other major problem with Pakistan unlike any other nation is that there is no ideological or basic political consensus among the populace of how to carry this country forward / backward. And of course, after every mis-adventure we can always blame America and wash our hands of any wrong doing. So my friend the politics of race, language is not going away, every party will use one card or the other, overtly or covertly. We had a chanced opportunity with Musharraf, to use the enormous human / material resources of this nation for some common good, sadly we have lost that opportunity to senseless movement mongering

Don’t you see the the dream of Greater Punjab is now becoming reality ?

3 provinces accept Dogar as CJ where as Punjab is recognizing Iftikhar Chaudhry as CJ and you are blaming me ?

The Punjabi Nationalism is in the air see all the Punjabi anchors what are they doing ?

Nawaz or Imran or Qazi(trusted Aid of punjabi establishment) are all saints and all the others are evils ??

Grow up we can see what is going on and till then read what Sindhi Nationalist saying.

@Khaled90 I will second MB. Enough of your ranting, Karachi is a metropolitan city and its beauty and progress lies in its diversity. It’s one thing to debate political differences, constitutional in-equalities, injustices and resource distribution formulas between the provinces, but it’s totally screwed up to spew foul mouthed ethnic hatred like Nazis. It was the same kind of language that was propagated against Mohajir’s which led to the upheaval of the 70’s and no Sindhi benefited from it.

Its human nature to harbour prejudices towards those who are different from you but its being civilized that makes you see above and beyond such frivolous thoughts.
