Minister further clarified that the kunda connection was metered(Meter was installed) and in total he paid Rs 11,780 almost Rs 2000/day . He showed the paid bills in an interview on GEO tv.

just to tell u something which is besides the topic.

On the Khi – Hyd superhighway, u can get urself challan’d along with the regular toll tax at the toll plaza and after that u’r allowed to go at watever speed you want to on the highway, cuz u already are challan’d.

Wat i wanted to say is that everything is possible in this country :)

OK, as far as I know, kunda doesn’t go through your meter that means you can’t keep record of electricity you used? (correct me if I am wrong)

how on the earth can KESC come up with the "kunda fee"…i mean wtf

lol, this is the NORM of the country, and as ‘d0ct0r’ mentioned you pay a fee and you get ur kunda Legal !!!

Everyone in this country is doing it so why can’t a minister do it ? Doesn’t he belong to this country ?

Or are we trying to start a campaign against the PPP government ??

I have had a chat with KESC highups once on this issue when i went complaining about some bigshot in our neighborhood who was involved in similar thing using a kunda to light up the whole place. According to KESC any one can pay a one time kunda fee to legally use a kunda for one night. Shocked and Surprised i just returned when he told me that this person had paid the kunda fee.

Same thing happened in this case . Dawn newspaper printed picture of a kunda being used to light up the place and next day KESC issued a clarification that Minister Sahib had paid the kunda fee and everything was legal.
