Is it true that even Nestle type milk in Karachi is not milk directly from cows. And, it is actually made from powder?

What ever you said is true(and that’s the case not just in Karachi alone).. Am just wondering how you got all that ‘insider’ information. Although on Papers we are world’s 5th Lagest producer of liquid milk but the bitter reality is that due to inadequate storage and handling facilities and greed of local milk farmers,most of the milk is rendered useless and unfit for human consumption. Kind of testing equipment,milk analyzers and technical expertise available with local dairy processing companies is’nt enough and basically is struggling and the milk farmers are always one step ahead of them and by trail and error are able to successfully dupe them by adulterating milk to increase fat content,volume and viscosity with the substances which the labs of these companies are unable to easily trace resulting in them processing and packing unfit milk. If i just list some of those substances and oils then out of disgust and horror you’d quit drinking liquid milk(both packed and gwala milk).

- The brand you mentioned is ironically one of the largest ‘importer’ of powdered milk these days,they were having serious quality and consistency issues just because of substandard milk being supplied by local (greedy) milk farmers.

- Another famous milk brand was importing heavily subsidized milk powder (under USAID program ,which otherwise attracts heavy custom duties and taxes to safeguard greedy local milk farmers ) was locally preparing liquid milk from imported powder,packing it in 200 ml packs and distributing it along with biscuits to interior sindh school girls under school nutrition program in order to improve primary school enrollment and increase the percentage of school going girls in rural sindh.

- powdered milk Imported mostly from(New Zealand,Australia,EU etc) is cow milk whereas ours obviously is buffalo milk..

I will like to know the truth here, although I think it may not be a bad idea. God knows what Pakistani frauds feed their cows. If the powder is coming from overseas, it may be (just may be) better than what our cows eat.
