Annoying Flies, They Are Everywhere!

Since a few days I am spending most of my time swatting flies, it is not that I don’t have anything better to do but when these tiny flying insects bother you beyond your limits of tolerance one has to take these measures, I have got the flours washed with Phenol, have tried bug spray on them but nothing seems to shatter their determination nor they reduce in number because they are plentiful all over the city.

Today I parked my car under a tree in North Nazimabad and within an hour there were at least a thousand of flies on the bonnet alone, two days ago I discovered one in the Biryani purchased from a famous Biryani Chain in the city, and today in the morning, Right in our own garden, along side the mint plants one committed suicide in my freshly brewed cup of coffee.

With the amount of flies visible around the city I am sure they are the seasonal added secret ingredient of many food items we eat specially at the road side restaurants, no wonder every other person is complaining of an upset stomach which is actually good for the doctors only who are the ones apparently earning the most from the menace.

I wonder if someone, someday would think of using a bit of insecticide to spray the city, to get rid of these annoying creatures. Of course I am talking about flies and not the poor majority of the city.

    Nice picture Jamash!!!

Btw, I don’t think so these flies are the reason for upset stomach and i hope you still had your freshly brewed cup of coffee. See the follow hadith:

The Prophet Muhammad – upon him and his House blessings and peace – alluded to both facts 1,400 years ago when he said, as narrated from Abu Hurayra and Abu Sa`id al-Khudri by al-Bukhari and in the Sunan:

If a fly falls into one of your containers [of food or drink], immerse it completely (falyaghmis-hu kullahu) before removing it, for under one of its wings there is venom and under another there is its antidote.
