Unhealthy water & commission

According to a recent report published in Dawn, 500 of the 1,500 water samples collected and tested by the Karachi Water and Sewerage Board were found unfit for human consumption.

Anyone who can afford now drinks bottled water. The rest make do with boiling the murky water. I think it is about time KW&SB should start charging commission to the multinational companies who sell the bottled water. Had they been doing their job properly and supplying clean water to the residents of this city, the multinationals would not have been doing such a roaring business.

    according to the health officials,
    (not just Pakistanis)

Boiled water is much safer and healthier than its bottled counterpart!

also apart from Aqua , Nestle and one two others, all the other bottled water have been reported unfit for drinking too, so its better to stop wasting money ! boil it and enjoy healthy living ( utopian dream in Pakistan :))

last year i had said the same and i repeat, this corporate mafia along with corrupt gov is depriving people of something that is their right.

And i say again in next century we would be buying cylinder for OXYGEN since all basics have now been commercialized.

The first step towards solution is to close these companies ( and please dont talk about the unemployment logic, else bars should also be allowed to operate) and push gov to fulfill is duty to provide safe water.

The gov has absolved itself of all duties and shifted the onus on corporate companies very conveniently and nobody is bothered.

    For electricity we have GENs.
For water we have BOTTLE WATER
For open beach we have EMAAR
For parking we have illegal charged parking (without safety)
For free clean air we have closed indoors with ACs

    ETC.

In addition, Lord only helps those; who help themselves!

Mustafa Kamal our beloved number One mayor thanks to Haq Parast Panel and MQM did took action and sacked one of the directors of KWSB …and let’s give a thumbs up to KWSB too for actually testing and bashing there own department. Something is being done which is refreshing…

Tankers Mafia an entity of Transport Mafia and Pakistan Rangers is working in our city in providing safe drinking water to the residents of this city and I am sure they can not function without the nexus of some of the officials of KWSB….it’s huge.. kiss kiss ko rokoo gay..? one should look at what Rangers Wing 91 and 83 are upto now adays…These two dodgy wings were actively selling fake soft drinks , water using ranger’s tankers and running a block factory sometime back…now this tanker mafia was also linked to sand mafia and any journalist who has the time should check these activities…problem with us is that we lack investigative journalists….obviously, they are strong since they are backed by political clout of a political party (ANP)… but one could try..!!!

    @ hbrehman
if MQM or MK take any action parties like ANP, Jamat e Islami, PPI PML N would made it an ethnic issue.
why all others are not raising voice against all this ?

I am sorry to post these comments here , sorry tazeen using your post to post something different as these comments are ment to post on The Poet & The Pragmatist

    For Kabirdas

Mododi aqaids are so anti islamic that all the sects of Islam gave fatwas against him and jamat e islami but after the illegal marriage of Jamat ISI and Punjabi Establishment all the ulemas are directed by our Great agencies not to speak against Jamat and Mododi.

Jamat e Islami who speaks against Qadyanis now a days but the reality is Mododi refused to call Qadyanis as Non Muslims.

take a look at this answer given by Jamatis and endorsed by Mododi.

    http://img136.imageshack.us/img136/9444/mod29at6.jpg

Not only this the Great Scholars and Ulema like Yousuf Ludhyanwi Shaheed wrote a whole book about Mododi and his deviant sect.

here are few links on internet about Mododi and what muslims scholars like Allam Yousuf Binori(Founder of Jamia Banori Town Karachi the Biggest Deoband Maderssa in Karachi)feel about Him and Jamat e Islami

    http://www.central-mosque.com/aqeedah/Mawdudi.htm

    http://www.al-inaam.com/library/mawd-history.htm

    http://www.sunnah.org/history/Innovators/mawdudi.htm

So people here fooled by Jamat e Islami should open their eyes as Jamat and Mododi are Fitna for Pakistanis and Curse for Muslims.
