It is sad, but I don’t see such incidents coming to a proper halt anytime soon considering our stray cat epidemic. We really need euthanizing and sterilizing these creatures (and stray dogs) for their own good. Until then, perhaps hesitantly running over a stray animal is worth avoiding a collision with another vehicle or man. It is sad, nonetheless.

I appreciate your concern: may be the guy wanted to stop but the fear of getting hit from behind on a busy road 9the one you mention) was the reason he didn’t stop.

I have hit hirnees ( deer, not women:-) ) few times, and it is worth stopping for them. But, billis, gilehrees are too small and one shouldn’t take chances if there are cars on the road behind you.

Anyway what is the fuss all about?? Isn’t life cheap in Pakistan, be it animal or human life???
