Signs placed all over the city in support of pillion riding

The results of the last poll that we had on KMB in Januaray when the Double Sawari ban was extended – 61% of our readers said “The ban on double sawari has nothing to do with Law & Order” while 38% said “It was a good step” So in light of the economic crunch and wide number of job cuts across the city do you still support the ban on double sawari?

Meray bahi, please do not associate the international credit crunch with our economic problems.

The international credit crunch, was caused by banks holding toxic assets and thereby booking significant losses which led to an air of mistrust between banks hence leading to a liquidity issue (as no one wants to lend to the other banks).

Our banks dont have this problem, and the foreign banks operating in Pak have been the ones that are least hit, ie HSBC, Std Chartered etc. So that excuse wont hold either.

Our issues are mismanagement by the current administration.

I just wanted to clarify this point incase PPP supporters think that our ecnomic woes are a result of a global meltdown.

And hey congrats to the champions of democracy on this page, ie MB, TeethMaestro etc, u got ur wish and our economy got F****d. ENJOY.

sardak terey baap ki hai kya…..mout kay kuain main keun nahein chalata….apna nahein toh apney bachoun ka khayal kar….han hai baap ki nahein meri apni hai pheir…bool kya kar ley gaa….kya kar loun gaa abhi batata houn…. etc etc….

these are the few most common…dialogues every karachite must have heard or ….from or for a motorcyclist…..

Iam not only totally against the pillion riding…..i want a complete ban on motorcycles within city limits…..it is something that should only be allowed in a mout ka kuain…(the well of death) or in the outskrits and suburbabs…
