Free SMS to any number in Pakistan

I was just introduced with an interesting SMS service offered by a Pakistani company. Some interesting features include:

• SMS for free on any number in Pakistan (it seems like a hoax but it’s not)
• All your sent and received messages are saved on your profile
• Personalized tagging for everyone you are having a conversation with
• Delivery status (you would know if your sent message has been delivered to the receiver or not)
• You can integrate your Twitter account with it as well
• Numbers of invitation increase as more friends accept to register
• Ideal for everyone who live outside Pakistan and want to stay in touch with friends

Site: iSMS.pk
Membership: Free (takes 1-2 days to process)

    it is a con attempt

it is a gimmick to create database then make money out of it, imagine your email address exposed, your private cell number exposed,

exposing yourself to more SMS / email SPAM :)

i’d rather not publicise such website on Public Blogs.!

    cheers !

Shamsi, I checked this service before posting. Spammer companies usually buy their lists from credit card and tellular companies.

There were no spams forwarded to me since last 3 months, on my mobile/email. Let’s give some credit where it is due for introducing an innovative service.

    Salaamz to All,
Well, I apply fot this services the day I saw it here.
I got confirmation email yesterday (23-FEB-2009).
I sounds cool and works pretty smooth with twitter account.
I think we should give it a try.

Bro Shamsi, It could be a con attempt.
    I. But who cares,
II. Everyone have multiple emails and SIMs so try it with the spare one (email and cell number), if found good then switch to main email and cell number.
III. I do not understnad why one employe such technical efforts and money to juts develope a database.
IV. there is an example of con i.e. http://www.nexusinternational.biz/pals.html and http://www.phonedosti.com it will give a feel of con just by the first look… no need to go further to get registered or drop contact info there….

Well, hats of for iSMS.pk,,, finally something good found with .pk at its end.

Also, check out http://www.pakistanbest.com a Pakistani equivelent of facebook…

dilkadr, its equal to SMS rates of the telecom operator you are using, as this is integrated through mobile number not a short code.

    Thanks Afreen,

Well, I am using that U-Fone SMS Bundle package like Some 1,500 SMS for PKR 75/=

I think you mean it will cost me standard rates i.e. PKR 1/= + Tax.

    Even then, it’s not bad.
