McDonalds Teacher Day appreciation program – Does NOT protect student privacy
Yesterday while on a routine visit to the McDonalds for a regular family meal on Tariq Road I noticed their new teacher appreciation program “Sab Say Best Teacher Kaun” an attempt to select the best teacher by public voting from the 20th April at all McDonalds outlets, in return the kids may even win themselves a free Kiddy Meal.
Surely this is a commendable social effort, appreciating the hard working teachers. On the form provided by McDonalds the student has to write a short comment as to why the teacher should be selected and in order to complete the entry [possibly to also win the prize] they also share their personal contact information and school particulars, submitting these entries to the respective McDonalds outlets

Hundreds of Student entrants for the Sab Sey Best Teacher Kaun Campaign - Names and Contact numbers on display
The organizers then place these submissions on all their outlets but quite surprisingly have not bothered to concealing the personal particulars of the participating students. Their personal contact details which include his/her name, school particulars and even their home/cell phone numbers are publicly on display. Quite apparently a serious lapse in protecting the privacy information.
McDonalds Pakistan needs to be immediately condemned and we must urge the management to immediately take down this public display, issue an apology and be weary of such lapses in the future..
shabash, hamesha ki tarah aik baar phir bareek kaam kia hay doc sahab nay
Thanks God they didn’t made the Shumaila’s number available for picnic
We should all write to McDonalds – they have seriously gone insane..
uh double sawari bhi abhi band honi thi.. ;d
the risk factor increased…..in the past there was only the chance of bumping into her…..now.
if I survived the year..sure why not….!let me just update the my calender.
Sooner or later, love’s gonna get you
No way that you can hide
@ wasiq
" Sooner or later love is goon get ya"

@fasee sab…sir sometimes you make me laugh so much that people around me think I am gone…..
Ay hairathe aashiqui jagaa math
Pairon se zameen zameen laga math
Why was my earlier posting under this thread blocked?
I support the campaign. Its good and involves the kids and their parents to appreciate the teachers…for their hard work and often thankless job.The objection raised about too much information being displayed publicly is very valid….
btw,the banner looks cool in color….
I was wondering whether you personally made the initial complaint to the management or any representative of the management in McDonald’s when you first spotted the error. Personally I’ve had good experiences with approaching the management of restaurants and fast food joints and have them address issues almost immediately after they’ve been brought to attention. Do let me know whether you tried approaching them on a 1-on-1 basis and how that worked out.
sub sey best teacher koun…? I’d say Fasee sab,KD and Balma jee….so what are the chances of you guys being picked up by a gangster…?
Apni toh patshala masti ki patshala….
@ wasiq
Sir, all me life, there was certain uneasy truve between us.
I didn’t liked them and they hated me, and failed me ( although I contributed well to my failures in school)
So end result is….I don’t like to remember any of those, and they don’t know if I exist.
The only teacher I rememebr is the slender innocent new entry as our drawing teacher, when I had my first crush on her…..she drew like an angel.
Anyways…after that 1 romantic year…in 5th class we had a bearded mullah as our drawing teacher…..aaargh that torture…no wonder I hate those bearded bastarddds…..its goes loong way back haan.
Bearded mullah drawing teacher : an oxymoron!
@fasee sab….I never really hated my teachers….I was very quite and shy so all of them really liked me…some of them were even challenged to make me change….I was not dumb so I used to enjoy their desperation regarding my progress….as far as a crush is concerned….I was so busy….in those days sometimes I had to attend more than one party a day with the parents….meeting so many nice and friendly people that there was no chance I could even miss a teacher after the bell…that is why today I don’t even remember most of the temps….
it’s only words
and words are all I have
to take your heart away
da da da da da da da
da da da da da da da da da da

@ balma
Sir if that surprised you, then I wud love to invite you to any of our institutes of ICAP and ICMAP’s gatherings….u’ll see that almost 60% of guys there are bearded althouugh being key figures in finance, treasury, banking, leasing etc…isn’t it an oxymoron or a moron to be exact.
@ wasiq.
Sir jee u missed the point…..when a innocent soul is confiend to a limited space with another soul with a heart..sparks do tend to fly, smmur romances, infatuatuions arw bound to happen…….
Parties in evening can’t compensate for the time in school…similar to a married guy having a crush of affair in office….ab his wife can complain…mujh me kiya kami thi…kiya nai kiya aap ke liyee….ab us ko kon samjhayee…its the way we are…its a guy thingy you know
Waisay mujhay apni wo miss aur un ki sikhai hui drawings yaad a gain
@fasee sab….institutes of ICAP and ICMAP’s gatherings
sometimes I walk into a mosque near a financial institution….like the trade centre mosque….and the two things I admire(read envy) there are the beards and their shoes….you are absolutely correct sir.
u missed the point…..when a innocent soul is confiend to a limited space with another soul with a heart.
sir how in the world could I miss this very point…..I have been through this most of my school life…..when you are confined in the daytime your body is at rest but the mind is spinning round and round… all you could think of is the evening to come or the evening that have passed…..you simply cannot focus on the soul with or without the heart….
I cannot comment on a married guys crush in the office….although I have observed most married women don’t take guys very seriously….like the working women..maybe that is the reason why they go head over heals….
@ wasiq
Sir, me being associated with these two, and many more professional bodies, I assure not all have beards or great shoes..( Guess u haven’t seen uncle fasee, neither a beard, and shoes r always dusty no matter how many time I polish)
As for leaving the current goodies for the want of greater goodies when the time comes…subhanallah, many maulvis wud have taken ba’ait at ur hands….
Working women…..have u seen a couple doing job in same company….I tell ya, its pure torture for the husband if he can’t control his wife
1) I have also noticed every time they show KSE on TV, everyone has a beard. In fact, seems like whole Pakistan has a beard, and those who don’t, baqaul KabirDas, has beard in their stomach:-)
2) I prefer heels over head in case of beautiful ladies. Proper parsing required to mehzooz from balma’s comment!
3) Husband and wife working at the same place is probably the worst thing – I repeat worst – thing than can happen —> to a man.
Balma aatimaa-hatiyaa kar lai’n gae laikin yeh anniyaahae apnay ooper kabhee nahin gavaarah karai’n gae.
Husband and wife working at the same place is probably the worst thing – I repeat worst – thing than can happen —> to a man.
if I ever agreed to either of the two at the same time and place…it would be just to see her smile….ya its that bad…!
I think we have more pressing issues facing us right now then this.
kya aap ka dhobi bhi bemaar hai….?
Btw, dhobi ko american main kya kehtey hain….?
@ wasiq
Yara america walon ke pass kapray hotay hi kitnay hain jo dhobi rakhain….khud hi dho ke sukha letay hain
@fasee sab….sab barday logoun ki bardee baat…..aap mano ya na mano…..meray paas aik American khatoon ki American toulia (towel) hai….itni bardee kay uss main merey jaisey doo lipat jaein….aur soft itni kay aisee karachi main toh mujhey aaj tak nahein milli……aap sonch rahey hon gay kay merey pass kaisey aaiee….asal main unn kay luggage main jaga nahein thi….kamkhab kay ghararay sey wazan ziyada ho giya toh …towel nikal kar meri taraf ochal dee….na maloom keun…iss khof sey kay wapas aa kar claim na kar dein main ney dhobi ko bhi nahein dee…humara dhobi toh steel ki sheets bhi tar tar kar dalta hai…..mughley azam lathay ka kurta doo toh asli pari ki reel milti hai…aur uss per tana yeah kay kaprda khatam ho giya hai naiya banalo….
@ wasiq
Sir, me ne movies me, aunties ko apni koi personal garment uchaltay tu dekha hai, kushi say, per towel, samajh nai aya meray ko.
Plz remove the towel, or someonewud get the wrong impression u stole it from someone who was still wearing it at that moment when u did….;)
Kiya karain, logon ki zuban thori paker saktay hain….specially post hibernation uncle balma’s mind doing overtime here
@fasee sab….sir I knew you would try to create confusion about how I got it that is the only reason I explained the whole scene…
I know the fascination of a girl throwing something of her apparel was very great in the previous generation….our generation here in karachi had to face great restrictions regarding what to wear and what not to…because of that….thing are much better now….don’t you think…
@ wasiq
Wah sahab, toliya aap lay uray, aur hum say gila ke confusion create kertay hain.
Theek hai bhai theek hai, kal ko koi aur posheeda garments lay ke ajain gay tu bhi haamra hai qasoor theray ga.
Reh gai aaj, tu aaj kaal larkiyoon woh garments ka takaluf kerti hi kahan hai ke hum pe phaink sakian.
Pichili therki generation ki tu baat hi na karain, am talking bout balma n KD here, is generation pe tu koi khatoon apna burqa bhi phaink deti tu they wud have been turned on…therki generation…in our case, they have to wrok harder to turn us on
@fasee sab….very very hard….i know!
