If there is one thing that makes your blood boil is something like this – driving down Khayaban-e-Ittehad in the middle of a sweltering afternoon, and seeing the street lights switched on!
The red circles are there just to show you the streetlights on that entire length of the main road, were on. The time I snapped this photograph was about 5pm, which means a good 2 hours before sundown. I had passed by the area about 3 hours earlier and found the same situation.
There are mindless ad campaigns from PEPCO about how we should conserve the electricity we already don’t have in our homes, schools and offices. Whoever ‘controls’ the streetlights really needs to wake up!

This reminds me of a recent ad by KESC management in which half of the portion was WASTED by someone’s pic and fazul mai self portraying KESC for nothing. I had thought then to post it on KMB with title "WE NEED WORK not WORDs". wish i had done that. . :)

All they need is a good secondy power generation……. A UPS, petro-gas generator, solar, waste, wind energy…..in west they even produce energy of biomass extracted from human toilets.
Just google the devices they use to get that……..u’ll get they idea they won’t even SHIT go waste….ans we waste evrything and make it look,smeel,feel like SHIT

here in jamshedtown we have on/off switches on the pole for every street light….to tease The Good Samaritan..I wonder why CBC or DHA has not done this yet….?
