sir I donot differentiate between the two…..to me both madonna and micheal are the left and right spurs who kept me on the track of faith….during the most difficult time of my life…..also I feel that if micheal had sung this song….it would have sounded 3time better….because he had an unmatched command over the tempo….

sir you cannot imagine how this post makes me feel right now….euphoric…..unfortunately this is a lakhani sab’s post and the mine sweeper is on a friendly visit to some banana republic of pressure point……still iam so turned on that I feel I can knock the desperate choti khala down and get lakhani sab freed once and for all…..lol

I have very fond memories of this area in the given map above….and the greatest thing is that being here in the city all the time I somehow managed to stay away from this area during the two longest military rules….in my life…..
before the gen sab’s(zia) martial law….we use to visit old clifton very late in the night for fresh air….and there were no road blocks and barriers anywhere in that area….and even if there was….Our 24hours resident chauffeur….God bless his soul….was amazing….for him on the driving seat there was no restricted area anywhere in this city of karachi……I remember when we used to go to an AFB to pick an aunt or cousins they used to salute him at the checkpost and you wont believe where he used to park the car….lol

after the plane crash….I was again lured into visiting this area under false pretense of education….this time I had to take the public transport….first to sadder and from there the 20….there was no plaza or zamzama back then….just the two swords…..

last year after musharraf….I revisited the area couple of times and walked on foot after the morning walks on the beach….believe me the old are useless and the new are hopeless….it is a mohenjodaro of karachi….and so many guns on the streets…..you are right about the access not allowed thing….my could be inlaws look at everybody suspiciously with those undressing eyes….its not a very safe place to be even during the day….
