    @7b0y –

thankyou for your note – this is just to correct or perhaps just inform that it may not be Pakistan’s first. And as a fellow MB author i know where we are.

Btw its a very good move, i’ve seen lot bigger parking spaces in other countries such as USA and sometime the parking rates in Washington for day goes till 25$ :)

Hate to disappoint you kids but the first and foremost parking plaza in pakistan is a privately own and built….one of the land marks of Karachi…The one and only Tibet center on M.A Jinnah road….as the legand goes…they actually were of three minds…I am sure my friend Swerveut will agree….as the design indicates…having the car park in the middle floor of the building…I believe its four dacades old now…does somebody has the history of this building and a good picture show the cars parked…

Sunna hai log ussey Ankh mar kay dekh tey hain

Parking plazaz are good, but juhala na parking itni door rakhi hai…plus sara rasta fruit mundi bana huwa hai….nechay gutter beh raha hai….aur road per police CDs check ker rai hoti hai rainbow ke bahar.

It wud have been better in jahagir park, the orignal place

@fasee sab….sir fortunately I haven’t been to sadder/empress market for couple of months…but last week there was a picture in the daily dawn of the digging in front of now extinct sadder dawakhana…for the signal free corridor….so I believe the scene must have changed very much now because I remember exactly how you have discribed many months back….the sewerage water was flowing on the road as if it was a canal or something…and a little further down the road towards lines area…which appears so nice clean and wide in the picture above…was occupied more than half by the old cloth carts….dhobi’s drying the washing….on the road….it is a very multi-purpose road you know….lol

tum aa ga ay ho toh keun intezar ay shaam karein

I think u rith thtz why he mention his problem which he face with police & DVDs

  15. fasee on July 15th, 2009 @ 6:20 am

    @ 7boy

Sir, this is a hypocrate qoum, in addition to being a phateichar n jahil qoum dat is.

Rainbow evryshop is loaded with such stuff…they don’t close dat, yet check evryone who buys them….hypocrates.

Last time I biught DVDs I was caught and they stole all the money from my vaulet, which was a very hefty amount.

So no more rainbow for me…now if I need to watch such stuff, I buy from lahore, where zaitoon plaza has open shops dealing an no police to check when u take them back openly in ur hand… bottom line …punjabiz maybe cheap yet not hypocrates..they r pretty open on issues of sex….atleats much better than the pethetically confused lot in karachi

@fasee sab…..bismillah ar rahaman ner rahim…first thanks to Allah and my parents who had an absolutely positively immaculate relations with the church of pakistan when I was born….so I always feel at home when I am there…get unbelievable discounts from strangers….besides…during my very long educational period..I often took a connecting bus from there…so I was practically there twice a day 180 days of the year….passing through rainbow center to get to the student’s biryani every tuesday and passing again after eating chicken biryani with smiles on my face and a contented heart… looking at the shop keepers and all those present inside and outside the rainbow center all the way upto the bus stand and my escorts inside the bus……they became very friendly…and relaxed…even offered a job/work in one of those shops were you get your DvD’s…If I had accepted the offer it would have been much easier for a lot of the agencies..because I feel the goverment of pakistan have been accepting a cheque from IMF or whatever.. for my sex education since my barmitzvah….or maybe even before….and have been wasting it on stopping and preventing the people like you…lol!

La, la la la la la, la la la la la la la

  18. بستنی (wasiq) on July 16th, 2009 @ 1:58 am

@7bOy…sir fasee sab’s nearest shop is owned by his dearest inlaws….he can’t be seen anywhere near the shop….
rainbow center has all kinds of shops not just whole sale shops…they even do the rentals…..

  19. fasee on July 16th, 2009 @ 9:17 am

    @ wasiq & 7b0y

Never knew bout the rentals, but whenever I buy, I buy in packs…2,3 packs a time….20 per pack u know, its not on daily basis we go there.

But now there is no need, just nostalgic value n, for the kicks, pun intended, that I go there.

Werna tube8,torrents, rapidshare, megavideo ke zamanay me rainbow jana ka time kis ke pass hai.

Besides they don’t have the things that I have the taste for, so have to scan for it on net na.

  20. بستنی (wasiq) on July 16th, 2009 @ 10:47 am

@fasee sab….sir torrent…? now you are talking some sense….and for me the free delivery of students biryani with an enhanced menu has taken away the charm of visiting rainbow center and sadder….

aap sey mil kay hum kuch badal sey ga ay

hum ko loggon sey mil ney ka kub shouq tha….

" Now u are making sense"

Some times the most sane answer to the isane world is insanity.

My making ense was somehow an error, will make sure it won’t happen again.

Mujhaay mast mahool me jeenay dee,

" Jeenay ke bahanay lakhoon hain"

Jeenay ke bahanay lakhoon thay. Jeena hum ko aya nahee.

Phansnay ki tamanayee kertay rahay, police ke ilawa dil kisi ka aya nahee.
