Lol...maybe u got a valid point there, u know, fasee thinks its the feeling of not having a thing that clouds our mind so much it badly effects our rational thinking pattren.

I.E, when fasee used to travel by foot he used to see KFC n people inside devouring zingers while he just stood outside, every branch I crosed make my stomach twitch with some hunger, I really wanted to have one, real bad.

Now when my wallet have gold card of I guess all banks I pass by them n all those hotels, it either never bothers me, nor do I feel any hunger, if I feel hungru I eat my fresh salad from home....irnoically, that was available even in old bad times, but I was busy watching those junkfood billboards in furustration.

Thinking pattren of havez n havenots is a totally diffrent ball game....fasee nows coz he has been deep inside both of the territorries.

As for canada...some wat rite, that's one reaosn fasee applied for a fedral one that takes 5-7 yrs to process instead of provensial that takes 1-2 yrs....as I haven't made my mind yet, shud I leave my lifestyle n drive a cab or fill fuel tanks, am I desperate enough..?? When I will feel desperate enough by the loadsheding, jobkessness, crime, unrest, bombings that leving my house job friends and go driving a smelly cab, shuttling drunk fat white slobs from there bars to there houses for a 2$ tip wud seem charming enough...dread those days, but fasee might pack his bags and never look back to this jahanumi palce which wud be ready to implode....if I get enough time that is..

Woh kiya kehtay han...the devil is in the details...in mycase its in the end..:):)

Well admittingly never had the oppurtunity to soak the royal oats in any fields...

And now when I wud pack my bags n move to frozen hell canada...I might be beyond the age of soaking the oats.

Being spent most of me life in police state saudia where u can't see anyone beyond 6 yrs old without the black drapes, n rest in pakistan in a state where I hardly had pennies in my pocket for bus ka kiraya...so was unable to indulge in any luxuries that come with weatlh.

So all my experience is from the net, tv, cable or my girlfirends that I beagan to have in my middleage

But one thing even fasee admist to them being superior is in beauty....I can drop down on my knees for such beauty...or atleast my pants would hehe...anyday anytime....

But let's admit it..they have better institutions n better understanding and enviorn about ethics rule of law and etc etc...much better than our kuwat-e-imani say bharpoor dil o dimagh...and jhanko to adheri kali raat...most of us do.

No respect for law, ethics, morality...batain hain sirf batain....in real terms we all r piece of crap n no more....but its refreshing to see many of us are proving our mettel inthere own games...a faint light at the end of a very very looong tunnel I see

@ wasiq

Sir jee agree with u on a few points, disagree wuth u on many.

Let's start with disagreements.

"Mobilephone"
Once a luxury in true sense. Its as comon as a wallet or underwear to be more precise...everyone is SUPPOSED to have it as a MUST..and a man is looked at as incompelete without it.....so I guess it was ur description that was a wide ball...way of the stump..hehe

"Metrobloging as benchmark"

Can MB be seruiosly taken as a benchmark for dsl penetration in the market...I mean look at KMB it has 3-4 daily contributors n 5-10 weekly contributors....so what does that saybout Karachiz net savy pun...??

They r more contributors into warez sites, dll sites, torrents sites, hackers n crakers sites.....

Agreements..

I agree on the following

"Inferority complex"
Yup we, our phds feel instantly inferior to there white trailer trash knowing they have a green crad...its a complex that has been builtinto us by generations of inferiorty complexed aba_o_ajdad n media.....but now net is changing that..that's good

@fasee sab....sir I believe your example is very....off track...6 out of 10 jhugi wala's in jamshedtown are proud owners of a mobile phone......all beggers and cops on tariq road have mobile phones.....jewelers have atleast two each and pan wala's usually have three....
now lets study the reason why Mr GB thought it a neccesity....unlike here where parents are very focused about the education of their kids....kids in the britain are lagging behind because the parents are not motivated enough to focus their attention on the kids education.....but this was a very well kept secret....until I got online.....and on KMB....now they can see the difference easily....the birmingham and london are the only two cities on the metroblogging map .....both a disgrace....the birmingham MB has not been updated since 27th july "2008"....can you believe that....?
http://london.metblogs.com/

http://birmingham.metblogs.com/

what do you suggest could be the reason.....lack of interest, lack of bloggers, lack of education, or no internet....
nobody in one of the largest metropolitan London ever comments on the London MB....
Sir I have won many battles and lost causes with a just a dial-up connection....Iam not familiar with the DSL....
you wont believe this but my parents were very fond of people who were educated or worked in britain....they used to have about 10 chappa's every year...all gladly invited to dinner and I had to serve and eat with those visiting churdells...and feel embarrassed when I pick my nose because all I could come up with was a sticky white thing and here they were my learned friends and cousins churning out english language from their noses amazing stuff....After I joined the british council karachi the number of chappa's suddenly shoot up to 36 per year and the visiting scholars became very unfriendly....you'll know the drill if you have see the old harpic AD...."fazila yeah hai tumhara baatroom...."very very sarcastic....it was only when I got the dail up years later the number suddenly dropped like the rupee fell against the dollar but since I started blogging and commenting here on KMB that practice has abruptly stopped....to an alarmingly low all time low....this year we only had One Frankenstein gora...and even he checked 6 times on the phone that I am not in jamshed town.....
So my dearest broadband friend...dying is easy...making somebody like you laugh is the most difficult thing in life....glad to be of any assistance....Ha Ha..!
