Which chamcha of Altaf Bhai, Pir of London, Citizen of UK – and not Pakistan – and leader of countless men and women who throng this unfortunate city of ours, has published this book. Congratulations to him. But I wonder what is there on Altaf Bhai, Pir & More Pir, that this book discusses. Can Raja Islam please comment?

  9. Raja Islam (rajaislam) on July 29th, 2009 @ 4:41 pm

this book is compiled by Rasheed Jamal publisher ka nahi pata.

  10. balma on July 29th, 2009 @ 6:08 pm

    Ameer Hamza,
Pakistan is a free country. Anyone can write a book on anyone.
It actually creates jobs for writer, publishers, and booksellers and distributors. It is a win-win situation for everyone.

And it is good for our country and it’s electric supply too. Every minute our dumb and jahil citizens are reading a book (if they are able to read), they are not out burning electric company’s grid stations.
    Ajeeb qaum hae bhai!

  11. fasee on July 29th, 2009 @ 6:46 pm

Pictorial Biography of Altaf Hussain, has a splended collection of photographes, especially for those people who loves Altaf Hussain and wish to know everything he has been through. Unlike feudal leaders of Pakistan who are born with a silver spoon in their mouths, life of Altaf Hussain is a continious struggle against all odds.

As you scrol through the book you can see rare pictures of Altaf Hussain founding APMSO and then MQM, This book is like evidence which depicts the strugle and the sacrifices, the pain and agony Altaf Hussain and his loyal followers has gone through to standfast to their ideology. One cannot stop appreciating all the hard work Altaf Hussain has done to bring his people this far. Salute to Altaf Bhai. We all love you.

    Long live Altaf Hussain.

@fasee sab….sir as you can see…KD is still alive…he has not been operated upon yet…still having the tests (not the new clear arms test like Iam having)here is what he said on IMB….

    kabirdas on August 3rd, 2009 @ 5:40 am

    @ wasiq
Sorry for not keeping you abreast of my state of health. Believe me I am still alive and kicking dreaming about the houris who may be waiting to take me in their arms. After a series of tests I am now due for the second opinion of a surgeon on 04 Jul after which the surgery will be scheduled. I will let you know about the date of surgery so that you can drink to my good health which may prove to be more effective than any prayer. Ah! but the drink must have bit of alcohol in it to be effective. Please let Fasee also know about my state of health.

@fasee sab…I was watching the Mask” animated….about the contract with the you know who….and the central idea was that most people don’t read the small script which we love to call the Fine print”
I believe he read the fine print in his contract..which clearly says…”make as many drinkers in pakistan as you can…and get to invite anybody before fourty days(chelum) for ever….!
and you can guess who’d he love to invite into the fire with him….no comment!lol

Yaro, the diagnosis and treatment of my ailment seems to lie in the following rubai of Omar Khyyam:

If you happen to die before me please ask them if you can bring along a friend with you. Don’t want to miss out on houris when you guys are at them.

I hope I am not digressing from the topic of this post. I don’t want to get banned like Balma. Sharam oun ko magar nahi aati as chacha Ghalib might have said about him.

  49. wasiq1 (wasiq) on August 3rd, 2009 @ 11:01 pm

    Wasiq

If you happen to die before me please ask them if you can bring along a friend with you.

@KD sarkar…..sir I believe hafiz knew centuries ago that this is not happening and even if God forbid it happens….then nobody will ask me that because….

Next spring, giving up wine, I deny
Why fool myself? This I’ll never try.
Where is the minstrel, that all piety and mind
With the song of the harp and reed I defy.
In the noisy school, O heavy heart, O heavy heart
In the service of wine and love let sometime go by
Where is the fairness of life, bring me wine
I’ll tell the tale of many kings who now peacefully lie.
On Judgement Day, openly I show how I erred
Honest mistakes fear not, His mercy shall multiply.
Bring the messenger of dawn, distant midnight cry
With that majestic morning light will dissolve and fly.
This borrowed life, given to Hafiz to live and die
Will return to its owner, when His face identify.

    ” If u can bring a friend…”

No sir, last time I checked, gang bang orgies were not permisable up there, unless wasiq digs out some unwritten loophole into that fine print, and you convincing them into leting it happen, till then, its still not allowed….trying to be the first to break that taboo.

But come to think of it, if u got 72 to satiatie ur unsatiable hunger or thirst, guess orgies wud be allowed or permsiable, yet only one male memebr wud be allowed….sheesh here I go again trying to read fine print of an unwritten law.

I guess I shud rise above and do better…I’ll ask gali ki masjid ka maulvi…who better to ask then a guy who has more wet dreams in a month then one who had in a year…..

    “Rubaiyaan”

Sir pls both of you, a good rubai or misra, of a ghazal, fasee thinks, is gone waste, if not accomponied by a good mujra, so do include a refrence if it were sang and danced upon by aiswariya or rekha or malika sherawat….for the stimulationf of the minf, for brain is the most sex oriented n starved organ of the body.

  52. kabirdas on August 4th, 2009 @ 5:06 am

    @ Wasiq and fasee

You two have now become too smart for KD to bamboozle particulary in his present state of health. I better go back to my .IMB to bamboozle my nature loving friends.

Wasiq, I loved the Hafiz poem quoted by you. Where did you get it from. I would like to read more of Hafiz kalam. The translation sounds quite good. However in response to this poem let me quote Omar Khayyam once again. In his poem titled KUZA NAMA one of the pot at the poter,s shop goes on to say:

  53. kabirdas on August 4th, 2009 @ 5:11 am

    @ Wasiq and Fasee CONTD

Then said another–” Surely not in vain
My substance from the common Earth was ta’en,
That He who subtly wrought me into Shape
Should stamp me back to common Earth again.”

Another said–” Why, never a peevish Boy
    Would break the Bowl from which he drank in Joy;
Shall He that made the Vessel in pure Love
And fancy, in an after Rage destroy!”

Said one –”Folks of a surly Tapster tell,
    And daub his Visage with the Smoke of Hell;
They talk of some strict testing of us–Pish!
He’s a Good Fellow, and ’twill all be well.”

  54. kabirdas on August 4th, 2009 @ 5:36 am

    @ Fasee
The hell will be heaven for me if I am there in the company of men of reason such as Bertrand Russel, Will Durant and Richard Dawkins et al. And the heaven will be hell for me if I am there in the company of men of dogmas such as Molvi Soofi Muhammad, Molvi Fazalullah and Molivi Fazloo et al.

” But why, in any case, do we so readily accept the idea that the one thing you must do if you want to please God is BELIEVE in him? What’s so special about believing? Isn’t it just as likely that God would reward kindness, or generosity, or humility? Or sincerity? What if god is a scientist who regards honest seeking after truth as the supreme virtue?”

  55. wasiq1 (wasiq) on August 5th, 2009 @ 1:11 am

@fasee sab….sir yeah aap ney mujhay kis kaam pey laga diya….aap ney dariya ko samander main …..

@KD sarkar….sir I have nothing against the IMB….infact I am beginning to like them …and the vice versa

reward kindness, or generosity, or humility? Or sincerity? What if god is a scientist who regards honest seeking after truth as the supreme virtue?”

Ok sir I think you are losing it now….you are forgetting the Big game…has nothing to do with the supreme virtues….its just that either we trust in God…or we don’t….if we do than its Okay…but if we don’t than there can be two things….either the black prince changed our code and made us non-believer….or he just got lucky….that our genetic code was already too inferior to be a believer…..
sir believe it or not there are more non believers in this world than people following good virtues….generosity and humility are very common in this world….you can expect them to take you to heaven…

My eyes drown in tears, yet thirst for but one chance
I’ll give away my whole life, for Beloved, but one glance.
Be ashamed of Beloved’s beautiful eyes and long lashes
If you have seen what I have, and still deny me my trance.
O traveler, leave these city gates behind and go back
Tread the same path, and towards my Beloved you’ll advance.
With such shortage of love, I submit to my fate
That drunken gypsy’s love is now my circumstance.
The aromatic flowers, the perfume of that hair
Is only a sample from my Perfumer’s fragrance.
O gardener, like the breeze, do not drive me away,
You water your flowers with my tears’ assistance.
Ordered me to drink much from my lover’s sweet lips
And healed my sickened heart by taking such joyous stance.
The one who taught Hafiz, how his ghazals enhance,
Is none but my silent friend, with a sweet parlance.

    KabirDas Sahib,

    Good to see you here.
Just one suggestion: Please use the term ‘mullah’ for people like Fazlu.
Molvi and Maulana show education. Almost like B.S. and masters.
Mullah is a derogatory term (insulting term) used for jahils and frauds like fazlu and sufi muhammad.

“What if god was a scientist/ humanity/ virtue”

Sir, that reminded me of fasee when he was in class 9…( Fasee used to fail or barely pass in english n maths )

When fasee failed in maths again, he quallreled then pleaded then cried to his math teacher, ke sir my solution was wrong but, sir diagram ke hi number de dein….but that sadistic fart didn’t relent, I failed, one of my numerous lows in life.

U know what lesson I learnt, if I fail in the core issue, its no matter what else we are doing good or great or in excellent class.

(Fasee, the chronic maths n english failure….. grew up to be a qualified accountant and fraud investigator , and pretty good in english aswell)

Soo, we have to learn the basics, before we move to a higher level

@fasee sab…..sir I totally agree with you on this …but my arch nemesis don’t…its their job to guide young people in choosing the right career path and then helping them to get there within the prescribed time…..I hope you know who I am talking about….
only last night while twitting…..in a somewhat similar mood like yours here…I fired an arrow at them….and they immediately replied with a javelin….an unbelievable profile….of somebody I have never heard of before….but I could have fitted in that profile probably in a little less time …only if I had not been such a delinquent…..

Guess I have to totally agree with your nemesis on that….carear planing is one thing that we in pakistan, seriosuly lack in….abba amma ya dada ki lost fantasies porra kerna me pori zindagi ik lost carear ya half success half faliur ki tasveer bana rehtay hain.

I cud have been a excellent docotr or a painter, for painting n medicine were my fav hobby n study n highest marks getting subjects….english n maths n islamiyat failed and reduced my grades all my careear drastically…..being top 5 student always ranked in 10-15 on average….u can not understand my hate for eng, math n arabic….the humiliations, furustrations n failures.

Yet being a son of a chartered accountant, and an expert of english n religion,I was supposed to Excell in all three….so it was kind of a double whammy for me, scolding at home n school can turn any mind into a psycotic or a vegetable or a drugie….

What I dis agree with ur nemesis with is….we all have certain skilss that are LATENT and stored in us…we have to find them n harness them…..once I quit my drugs, chanalised my enormus hate for these subjects into beating them in examination n coming on top,the awe in others eyes, gave me the satisfaction to traquiliser cud have given…..besides carear planers are mostly craps….they can hardly find the latent talent….they moslty just tweek what u already got.

@fasee sab….sir my nemesis was quite depressed after reading this…..iam not sure how your shrink is taking it…he is not a she isn’t he….with a slight fear of being killed by your shrink…I’ll have to say this….if you have realized that you can do what you were not meant to do…better than most….than you can do better.
there was an ad in the sunday papers for shrinks in the Army….you must apply for it….the army needs you…!

    “Is he a she…”

Sir ur guess r excellent or am I that tranparent…that people can rightly guess I wear yellow undies with little red hearts all over it…!!!

I always prefer female proz when choosing a painful experience…..my regular dentist has always been female, but have finaly switched to males, to drill into me and get paid for filling me, I risk being labbeled gay for twlling this, they r ugly, but competent.

Same goes for female instructers, they r incompetnet yet fasee stays focussed on them much more than males, but for all the RIGHT reasons.

For female studnets fasee used to give discounts even when hard to pay my bills…a guy has to do what a guy has to do u know…;)

Yet if I had opeend my account on time

I cud have charged more tution fee from those bimboes, shudn’t have been fleeced by those shabby dentists and shudnt have sank my money into usless workshop courses….

“a guy has to do what a guy has to do u know…;)”

And sir, I suppose you will agree that by the same token a gay has to do what a gay has to do :-)

Docs here have declared me LA ILAJ which hitherto I was in many other ways. So I will be returning home soon in the same or slightly worse condition as I came in here. Shows America doesn’t have solution to all the problems a man may face in this world. However, it is still no reason to start looking toward sky for help since sky exists only in our imagination.

  66. wasiq1 (wasiq) on August 8th, 2009 @ 8:12 am

@fasee sab…now that explains a lot…..no more resentment from now on..only Awe for you Sire !

    @KD sarkar….

    I’m never gonna dance again
Gifted feet have got no rhythm
    Well it’s easy to pretend
    I know I’m not a fool
Should’ve known better than to cheat a friend
Wasted chance that I’ve been given
So I’m never gonna dance again
The way I danced with you

Man, dats ugly…when docotr says this is lailaaj.

It started with mild shocks, like when my docotr first told me, danduruf you have is a lailaaj thing…used to waste hell lot on antidandruff shampoes, creams, nite lotions and tablets….fasee had a heart break n a heart burn.

Life went on, my very close relatives got to have heppitits C, cancer n tumours, and me being there hering this is incurable…..feels helpless…..lately my child was diagonised atropical eczima, again a lailaaj thing….shakes ur world…..but over past years have learnt to restart my burners at once, coz others need this shoulder more then my own need for one myself.

  69. fasee on August 8th, 2009 @ 10:58 am

    @ KD (contd)

So the next question comes to is, NOW WHAT….and next, HOW MUCH TIME I GOT….we make a list of the things we can do, the chicks we always wished we cud bang but either cudnt afford to or not prioritiesd…the places I can be, things I can give.

My advice wud be, before comeing bak to the land of the pure, do spend some time is hawai n las vegas, spend some time with the devil, and its daughters, it wud be money worth spent, burn some dollars on the black jack, visit some strip clubs play some nude poker, scuba diving, rock climbing, they wud be the memories that wud be the pillar of strength that will carry your load and ease the pain…..and when givign the above advice I was damn serious for a change.

And for once, pray from the inside, he listens and intervene in ways beyond our imagination….peace bro

Unless you have any other important business to attend to return home immediately….trust me you’ll feel much better when you are at home…nothing can be more relaxing and comforting right now than listening to the juma sermon from your study…….all the best

@fasee sab…sir he is accompanied by and under observation of Mrs KD…and you are telling him to play blackjack….strip poker…when all he needs is a good hand of bridge….

one night in Bangkok makes a hard man humble….

Firstly did anybody of you have read this book, because I think it is very unfair to comment on a book without reading it?

Secondly I have read this book just to see what & how it is written frankly speaking I must appreciate the Writer & Publisher to write & print a world standard book (quality & printing of the book) then comes to the contents, its my personal opinion that the Writer has done a great research & spend time of collecting the data, information & pictures.

I also agree with @ZEPHYR that this book will provide great information about Mr. Altaf to those who love him (his followers in this case its more of Sindh people) but at the same time there is a chance that if the people who didn’t like him read this book might change their opinion against him.

One thing for sure I have seen in MQM is that when ever they got a chance to serve people they serve common people at the grass root level, I have seen 1987 local bodies elections in which they have won lots of seats and after that they have changed the look of Karachi. And now City District Govt its whole new Karachi.

See I am just a common person of Karachi, my need is clean water, roads to travel, my sewerage system should be ok etc basic things if I am getting these I am ok who ever will be in Govt.

Again please read this book before comment. Its nice to know about those who you don’t like just to be more informative or to find out any weakness.

“U know what lesson I learnt, if I fail in the core issue, its no matter what else we are doing good or great or in excellent class.”

Sir, for KD Haqooq ul Aabad make up core course. So was the case for our prophet vide his last Sermon. His whole sermon is about Haqooq ul Aabad. He mentioned Haooq ul Allah in just few lines.
Suggest don’t fail in Haqooq ul Aabad otherwise God will not forgive you. Allah may forgive you if you failed in Haqooq ul Allah.

“Man, dats ugly…when docotr says this is lailaaj.”

Sir, La ILLAJ doesn’t mean it is the end of the world, at least not yet. All it means is that things have changed now. I will have to live according to the changed circumstances which I intend to do.

Isn’t it rather amusing and thought provoking that now when my grand daughter has started walking without falling I have started falling while walking. Few weeks back she was using a walker for walking now I have started using a walker for walking.

    “My advice wud be————-”

Good advice no doubt but for God sake let me know how do I shake Mr KD off my back to act on your advice. She now keeps a more strict watch over me than ever before though for a different reason.

“And for once, pray from the inside, he listens and intervene in ways beyond our imagination….peace bro”

LOL even though it hurts my neck.

Hats off to you sir for giving me a judicious and practical advice. I will act on your advice.

” Diffrence between merit n education..”

Sir, are you reminding me on my peelay sakool intelect…?

But peelay sakool intelect is a oxymoron don’t u think…:)

  77. fasee on August 12th, 2009 @ 10:44 am

    @ kd

    “Hats off to waisq….”

Sir seems u r more intrested in hats off the faseez advice of pants off eh..:):)

” How to shake her off my back..”

Sir after so many years of blissful married life, I belive every husband is an expert of art of deceit and intriuge isn’t it…??

But to be the devilz advoctae, lemme help, why don’t u tell bout the glorious, professional asthetic n economial psyotheripists of thiland, that although specilise in only certain muscles n areas, but we shundt be going in details, for knowing what’s best for us, so let’s have some sessions there its better that buring money on peers n faqeers, alleast it keeps my mojo going

  78. fasee on August 12th, 2009 @ 11:04 am

    @ kd

    ” La ilaaj..”

Sir, true, lailaaj doesn’t mean anyone wud die in an instant….its just to tell that we have to have a pain in the azz with us not able to do nothing bout till we die…and some times its not even lethal, just irritating

As I mentioned my dandruff, as everyonez, is lailaaj, enough of shampoos n finaly steriids, which I tried sometimes but threw away….my acidity, forcing me to take anti acidity pills all me life, but baah, I threw them away after 6 months of treatment, better do it by changing my lifestyle then filling those pharma coffers…

My childs eczima, made me sink in the chair n ears n temple heat up when he drilled down his words that its a genetic disorder, its either a genetic therapy dats not available here or not accurate enough……still I showed a bold face to doc, my wife n family, although his words burned in my brain, the word lailaaj, fasee spent many a nites trying to point who to blame, me or my wife, or my luck.

But got out of that phaze…now have reconciled…everyone does.

    ” Faith…”

Sir when everything fails, some times a mere “placebo effect” wud play…for mind is a wild beast, when people throwing bread at the aligators in manghopeer sometimes claim they got cured, or people throwing meat at crows, or bread at fish, chadders for peer faquirz qabar, all crap, but mind plays his own games, and when everything else fails, why not give it a shot….( But don’t frget thiland, they have even waived the visa fee, ab tu maan jain )

@all with due respect for all when a book launched it is confirmed and checked by valuable persons in circle if there is no value of any writing or biography that no papularity but fortunatily Altaf Hussain’s Biography has value in papularty because there were many litrate and valueable persons in inauguration so please it is very plesed to listen that accept this if have any objection must mark it but first know about that person.
