"Two types of burqa clads.."

Lol, sir jee types ki baat ayi hai tu buhat door tak jai gi......there is another type that have a beard at the wrong place under the burqa...;).....the ones police lookout for with metal detectors and chekposts...;)

@fasee saab....you are soooo right about the 4-5 eids....one is bound to catch up with either one of them....here in karachi and most major cities of pakistan folks have started to celebrate st valentines Day just like eid....some start waiting and planning for this day from the very next day....and they enjoy it more because there are no cultural and religious drawbacks....to this occasion.

Sir jee, ab baat chal nikli hai tu dooor tilak jaway gi...:):)

In a capatilist system, there is demand and there is supply....there is resource and there is a customer for it.

The seller sells at his price and buyer buys that.

We loose our resource and gets compensatetd...you don't want to sell you don't sell...simple.

When I sign into selling my resource (myself or my services) I am bound to oblige...I got paid to work in a field that demands work on weird times and days....I got well compensated for that..( Staff working on such days gets fabolous monetory benefits )

Imagine we don't get a taxi on eid day to land with all our extended family onto our helpless relatives.....taxi wala on the otherhnad gets to fleech us more than the level he fleecs us ordinarily.

Ab aap bolo, baitho ghar pe, well he won't like that, nor his family.

As for the ATM, cable, net, or petrol not working.

Well these r minor irritants we live buy.....why....bcoz we have just one like that around the corner.....its like a comon pin prick on the body.

But what if all petrol pumps close down, all cables left unattended....imagine the chaos.....its like ur body attacked by 10,000 pin pricks, dat can bleed it to death.......minor acts in individual capacity, might cause a huge loss if aggregated to a certain level.

Besides, as I mentioed in another topic, every cloud has a silver lining....we have 4-5 eids, so if he misses one he may cathup when we clebrate the fifth eid on 5th day or something.

@fasee saab....sir...the thing you have mentioned you want to see open or working on eid day are the very same things...you find closed or not working on ordinary days....many time of the year...
how many times this year have you been to the petrol/cng station and found out it is closed indefinitely...five,six maybe seven...
how many times this year has your cable been out, down because of rainand other faults...
how many times have you had to return from an ATM because it was out of order
how many times you have been without electricity at home or in the office...this year....600,700 times who's counting..?
and yet....
you have no sympathy for your fellow (muslims) beings who could enjoy a day or two with their family and friends on this most important day of the year....
shame on you....shame on me....shame on US
