    All thiefs, mafiaso’s and smugglers.

It seems impossible to free this city from the clutches of these Zia-ul-Haq deployed black mailers and give this city a decent / respectable transport system.

Perhaps what they have stated is the solution. After the immense success of the drones in eliminating some very serious crack pots, I wonder drones could be the solution to get rid of the yellow devils haunting our streets. A strile will be a wonderful opportunity, a hellfire attack on a compound full of parked empty Mini Buses.

    Ahh….if wishes were horses…

@Kaami saab…..sir my body is not like schwarzenegger …its more like Rambo’s face….otherwise I would have done it without the drones…but if you are willing to sacrifice the strike day brunch… I’ll see what I can do when they give a call for the next strike…both you and I will paint our faces black and do the job…and if we survived God forbid…then on our way back I can also settle a score with the Power company….with your help….we’ll make a wonderful team…

looking on the brighter side….progress and prosperity is already killing these so called “yellow devils”.its not the same as they used to rule on the two Wheeler’s roads….now the routes are longer…exits and short-cuts are non existent….their engines will have a shorter life span…profitability margin is reducing….they are losing the manpower as well to more lucrative job markets….please pray for their survival until we have an alternative mass transit system….or millions of people in karachi will have to face more hardships due to non availability of transport in the morning and evening…..some may even lose their jobs…

Zia has truly destroyed Karachi. Actually, it was Ayub who moved the capital to Islamabad. Bhutto should also be held responsible in this mayhem. Coming to mass transit, Bhutto ignored the proposal of starting a subway from tower to Lalu Khet in the early 70s. That was the time when India was building Kolkata metro. That was the biggest blow to mass transit in Karachi followed by the transport mafia patronage of Zia.

Karachi badly needs a metro system, even Delhi has got one and Mumbai has excellent commuter rail system for decades.

I have watched the acadamy award winning movie “slum dog millionire” couple of times this year….and I believe that our evils are much smaller as compared to kolkata and mumbai…the two cities that has given two of the most richest persons and families of the world.

If Karachi has survived and prospered without a metro….it must have been well planned….we can’t just blame luck for where we are today…
