    @Rehan Kana

    Are you talking about criminal gang (Militant Qatil Mafia) MQM Altaf’s committee which operates out of MQM’s terrorist headquarters NineZero Azizabad and

    faxes hit lists and sends bullet filled envelopes

    using its notorious unit/sector terrorists like Farooq dada,Fahim commando,Mobeen tinda,Rehaan kana etc.. ?

  5. Sheeraz (unregistered) on April 29th, 2010 @ 1:31 pm

    I don’t know who this committee is but I’ve seen some other wall chalking and I agree to their cause. Yes, Karachi is ‘ours’ and by ours I mean the Mohajir community. While this so-called committee is just a fake, there needs to be an active movement to save Karachi. MQM has failed Mohajirs and we need to get rid of this party. Where are all the Urdu speaking intellectuals and elders? We need a movement now and have to seek international help to save Karachi.

    Please no name calling, especially referring to mental or medical conditions like launDay baazi or haklaa-pun. I hate jamatis more than anyone else, but name calling is not warranted.

    Also, neither I am an intellectual nor an elder, but let’s get out of this racial mentality. Karachi is for anyone who is educated, or hardworking, willing to contribute to the city, pays taxes, remains peaceful, and is a good citizen.

    In the long run, i.e. within next 20 years, we will all be English speakers in Pakistan (mostly speaking extremely bad English in terrible Indian accents), and therefore, this nonsense like Urdu speaking or Makrani speaking is all useless. Note: those who claim to be Urdu speakers are the worst enemy of this language.

    I recently saw Tina Sani on a TV program, I would say after twenty or twenty five years or may be thrity years. I was shocked. Totally shocked. What I saw was not a slim and beautiful Tina Sani that I remembered from 80s, but an ammaa jee with bay-raunaq shakal aur thakee huee aankhai’n. I wish I hadn’t seen this program. Now, I won’t be able to enjoy ‘anokhaa laaDlaa’.

    I love Karachi. I lived 18 years there before moving to London.

    Having lived out of Pakistan for about 10 years – naturally I have developed an ‘outsiders’ view of Karachi and all that happens in it.

    But at the same time I still do identify with my city on so many levels. London/UK can never become my permanent home. It can only by Karachi/Pakistan.

    Now, reading the preceding comments, I am quiet disappointed in the type of language being used to describe and attack your ‘political’ opponents.

    I understand most of you do not need a ‘religious bhashan’ from me for whatever reason. But the truth of the matter is, Allah (swt) made this earth for ALL of His beings. Any claim to a piece of land may be only temporary. You or I do not own Karachi. (MQM seems to think so)

    Only Allah (swt) owns everything. We are only trustees. MQM must come of this mentality that it OWNS the city. Surely, Mustafa Kamal has done wonderful work. No doubt all residents of Karachi make dua for him everyday – even people like me too who only visit once/twice a year.

    Anyhow, please don’t use abusive language and don’t think you own a piece of land cause you lived long enough on it and made new roads. Make dua that Allah (swt) puts love between us. Ameen!

    Typical MQMized attitute..

    Starting from all the way top leadership, absconding peer Altaf bai and ex Nazim of (“All Karachiites are Ullu Ka patha”) fame till MQM’s unit and sector criminals roaming on the streets.. Abusive and intolerant attitude is their typical hallmark, in no time they start showing their true colors and stoop to intimidation,obscenities and filthiness.

    Yes indeed i became too much abusive more than of my liking, but thing that burst me off the edges is the hypocrisy of few people like d0ct0r , sheeraz and few others. Just look at their posts, years on years they keep propagating Jamati vision which is not nice at all on a public domain, i am not MQM supporter in my wildest dream nor i voted ever in my whole life though i could 3 times atleast, but i prefer not to and i may not vote anyone for rest of my life.

    This post itself is discriminating in its root, yet the comments made by certain people doesn’t help either, karachi metro blog should not be use for political campaigns.

    People are wise enough to understand who is good and who is not, so please don’t try to impose your views on others. I will cease to be abusive against anyone here till i can, though i wish people here on forum should refrain from political campaigns as well.

    Unconditional apology from Rehan for those who got hurt

    Jali cheenee-dandaan-saz,

    You are like Fox News’ Bill O’Reily. Taking things out of context. Editing comments etc. And, then repeating it forever.

    Ex Karachi mayor had made that statement in frustration when jamatis like you were accusing MQM of starting the fire in Bolton Market…..your conspiracy theory type brains always run quite fast. I hope your hands inside your patient’s (victim) mouth are more careful. You have been taking that statement out of context ever since. The whole statement was, I beleive something ‘like’, that, does the media think Karachi kay sub loge ullu tak paThay hai’n ….that they will destroy their own city?

    And, you, a naadaan jamati, has been taking it out of context. Perhaps, not naadaan, but bayiman jamati!

    Tussi ko sharam nahin aandee, bayghairataa?

  17. d0ct0r on April 30th, 2010 @ 8:55 pm

    Baba balma got an excuse for everything..

    What ever the context was the language he used wasn’t fit to be used on main stream media.I am sure he must have been using the same lingo in his everyday life. Have you seen F words or abusive slurs,cusses being openly used on western media? The point i was trying to make was that MQMized goons would resort to abusive slurs,profanities and finally next step would be intimidation,threats and violence..

    Has absconding peer sb hired you as his campaign manager for punjab?

  18. lameglio (unregistered) on May 1st, 2010 @ 4:45 pm

    Bhaiyya, yeh tu sach hai k ex-mayor Mustafa Kamal bahut ghaleez zabaan istemaal karta hai. Aksar project meetings aur visits kay dauran unn ki baataiN sunn kar mujhay sharm aati thi.

  19. balma on May 2nd, 2010 @ 9:53 am

    Jali Doctor, baghal may choori, moonh pay raam raam, the statement was rhetorical to answer saazishi azhaan like you that…..does someone think that Karachi kay avaam are ulloo kay pathay that they will put their own city on fire….so you charb zabaan, he was not calling KArachi vaalaah’s ulloo kaa pathaa. Now that you have been proven kaazib-ud-deen, you are hiding behind your mamaa’s skirt (or shalvar) by objecting to the language. abay oyae ghaamaR, if the language was unfit for the main stream media, then why was the main stream media showing it in the first place? If it was such an inappropriate phrase, why have you -the paarsaa of the world – have quoted it?

    And, finally, different cultures have different standards and tolerance.

    Ask a bangali what is an owl’s offspring called and he or she will respond ‘uloo kaa pathaa’. Somehow in Urdu this phrase has become inappropriate, but is never considered a gaali like maa behen kee gaali and is a milder daan’t compare to sooar kee aulaad.
    The most common meaning of uloo kaa paThaa in Urdu is ‘stupid’.

    How would you say owl’s offsprint in Panjabi, if you saw one at a zoo?

    Also, I am sure if Altaf hussain has any brain he will appoint someone other than me as his chamcha in Panjab. I can’t even speak the language!

  20. d0ct0r on May 2nd, 2010 @ 11:54 pm

    @Filthy Balma

    Well well,why am i not surprised.. Its typical of MQMized apologist to act stubbornly naive even when they’re caught with their pants down or maybe like i have been repeatedly saying old age is finally catching up with you and affecting your sanity and psychological condition. No matter how much you adore and worship this criminal mafia gang basically there is no room for argument on this one..

    MQM’s Mustafa Kamal NOT ONLY did utter abusive obscenities or profanities for Karachiites alone but he went on to abuse literally ALL PAKISTANIS from all sectors and all professions and not just once,he continuously kept on repeating vulgarities and displayed his lewdness on live tv,his intentions were quite clear..there can be no two opinion about it!

    Remember this guy was not some pan or gutka seller from Lalukhet or Golimar, he was mayor of world’s largest city,but his conversation displayed smuttiness . If media shows some one’s filthy side then its not media’s fault similarly if in front of a mirror your filthy image is reflected then you can’t blame the mirror.. It was all too spontaneous,he went bonkers in no time so media really can’t be blamed for that.

    As the phrase isn’t considered inappropriate by you then i am sure you use in your everyday vocabulary to greet your loved ones,friends and colleagues.I can easily imagine entire cadre of MQM’s absconding leadership even filthier language for all pakistanis every day from their hideout in London.

    Karachi is ours. We own it. We built it. We decide who lives here and who doesn’t. Period.

  22. d0ct0r on May 3rd, 2010 @ 3:15 am

    Nawaz Sharif is learning sindhi these days, Altaf bai must be taking lessons and polishing his punjabi speaking skills, whereas con man Zordari speaks and understands English,urdu,sindi and punjabi so its quite clear who has got an edge.. Zordari can fool both goras(Americans) and pakistani public conveniently.

    @Doctor and like minded

    Some silly preaching saga again ,,, I mean not again , for God’s sake.

    If Khyber belongs to Pathans , Punjab to Punjabi , why Karachi shouldn.t belong to the Muhajirs ???? Please put aside the rotten theories .

    All other ethinc communities migrated here for a livelihood , they were welcomed .but enough is enough .

    How would a pathan react if I go settle in Karak and try to grab his land on gun point ?
