Security Alert

It is to inform you that “Chup Tazia” (a religious procession) will be taken out on Wednesday, February 01, 2012 at 0700 hrs from Nishtar Park and will culminate at Hussainian Iranian Imam Bargah in Kharadar area. After the termination of religious procession, participants would attend a religious congregation.

The event will take place under strict security arrangements including temporary closure of MA Jinnah Road and some link roads specially roads leading to Saddar. These arrangements have the potential to cause noticeable traffic disruption around MA Jinnah Road. Traffic backload is expected in the above mentioned areas including Shahra-e-Faisal.

Keeping in view the last 3/ 4 days of sectarian sporadic killings in the City, possibility of another violent incident cannot be ruled out.
