Ever since 70’s every gov promised to turn Karachi into Paris. While they copied half-hearted fancy ideas from West e.g Sky scrappers (for 2%) , Bundos & Bundals (for 2%), Depress-ways, Under/Over & Nowhere passes (for 15-20%) what they forgot to copy was the real requirements: water, power, transport infrastructure, education & health (an issue for above 95%) so the end result is a Desi version of Paris.
