Go out in Karachi any day and you will find KFC, McDonald’s, Mr. Burger, etc etc overflowing with those endless couples who have no other getaways. In the past few years, the trend had changed.. people have grown more and more used to seeing couples ‘dating’.

But have things changed so much that Karachi is willing to accept this emerging trend ‘officially’?

Ghareeb ki Pajero. Heh.
This is even better than a rickshaw saying, mei bara ho kar bus banoonga :p

Remind me again, why do we use TCS?

Because we trust TCS.
Because TCS is supposed to be efficient.
Because TCS makes deliveries on time.

So all of Saturday passes by without a word from the TCS people. My friend gets annoyed and visits the TCS office in Lahore at night, the make tons of calls to no avail and finally tell him, “Sir, our delivery timings are now closed, we’re sorry”. I resign myself to not being able to receive the courier on Saturday and eagerly wait for Sunday.

Next day, no delivery.

TCS does not deliver regular couriers on Sundays. They only deliver couriers that have been paid extra for. But if they didn’t deliver the package on Saturday, was it not their duty to deliver it on Sunday? Countless calls and visits to the TCS office to no avail.

Finally, Monday late afternoon a TCS delivery person finally comes and delivers.
I tell him my sob story and complain, you know what he says?

“Madam, aap TCS ka shukar ada karein ke aapko aapka package sahi salaamat mil gaya”

Yar.
YAR.

On things like these, who do you even complain to?

Looked quite pretty, I must say. Want to share other Porsche Boxster sightings? I’m not sure there are other Porsche Boxsters on the roads of Karachi, are there? This one was deep blue, and oh-so-pretty! :D

I was too preoccupied in being fascinated by the car that I failed to notice who was driving it.
