On my way home from work yesternight (around midnight), I was treated to the rain in all its glory. AMAZING views EVERYWHERE. Even the flooded roads didn’t seem so bad at the time — seriously! It took me two hours to get home, as opposed to the usual 30 minutes max (because traffic is usually pretty thin by the time I get done with work-stuff), but it was ABSOLUTELY WORTH it, I tell you!!!

Here’s one picture that I took. The picture quality isn’t what it should be of course, but this is the best I could do with my camera (and my photography skills — more like the lack thereof, actually).

So yeah, can you guess where this is? : ) It shouldn’t be too hard, really, seeing as how all the landmarks, etc, are there.

In a spate of fires in recent weeks, our fire department has been taxed to the limit trying to put all of them out. In a tribute to the brave and courageous men who make up the fire department, this time’s WIK is dedicated to a fire station.
