Author Albert Einstein
Facilitator Dr. Viqar Zaman
Description This book presents Einsteins thoughts on life, on the world about him, and on his scientific labors. It provides a key to the understanding of this great man’s personality and his charming, witty and shrewd observations of human behaviour. Einstein believed in humanity, in a peaceful world and the high mission of science. He wrote, in form of articles and letters, on a variety of subjects which include politics, religion, education, pacifism, and the concept of good and evil. In 1955 at the age of 76 Einstein died of ruptured aneurysm of abdominal aorta. On postmortem his brain showed some extraordinary features which was reported in the medical journal Lancet. In short there is a lot to learn from his ideas which I will try to present as briefly as possible. I also intend to spend a few minutes on the conditions present during Hitler’s time which profoundly affected Einstein’s thinking. (By the Facilitator)
