Tire change in the middle of Shahrah-e-Fasial

Today I was complelled to write this post, when I was a witness to one of the most irrtiating sight of Karachi traffic. Right in the midst of peak rush hour some idiot gets a flat tire, we all get a flat tire once in a while, but mind you this is an idiot with CAPITAL letters as he takes the test of his intellegence a step further.

Mr. IDIOT stops the car immediately at the spot of the incident which conveninetly happens to be the fast lane of Shahrah-e-Faisal, with approximately a few hundred vehicles bumper-to-bumper stuck behind him. One might ask Mr. IDIOT to push the car to the side, but our extremely intellegent driver logically deduces that it would be a crime to destroy the tire and starts waving the cars behind him to wiggle past him as if he does not exist. Steps out of the car and calmly changes the tire.

Who cares about the traffic jam, or for that matter getting killed in the process, the tire is more important.

Vent your anger here, I have…….

this reminds me of all those donkey carts, rehri walas, rickshaws, and all other slow objects that cruise in the fast lane of the road. i suggest carrying a camera with you and next time you see such a thing just click it and post it here.

I would like to share a joke on this event. One man had a flat tire, he took that tire after it fixed he came back and found the nuts of the tires were lost. He got tensed. A mad man passed by and asked why he is so tense, he told the story. Mad man laughed and told him to take off one nut from each of the three tires and mount the forth one, and advised to purchase nuts from a nearest auto shop later.
The car owner was shocked and asked how that idea came in his mind. Mad man replied: I am mad not fool…!

    Dear Awab,

I am sorry to say that this is something wrong that happens but you also take part in it by not stopping it. Your best bet would have been to stop your car at the side and offer to help him push the car to a safe place. But there are some idiots who do not agree to that. For that what I do is I get back in my car, drive my car right next to them, take out my pocket knife, and leave a BIG, DEEP and LONG scratch in the car just to remind them who’s boss!
