Bus Ride

How disgraceful one can get first of all by sitting in ladies compartment in a public bus then having the guts to stare at them. Conductor had no issues with it since he was getting the fare so why would he care and well the females I am sure they must be sulking deep down inside, wanting to get off as soon their stop comes.

tell me about it. the conductors even make the ladies get up from the seats and sit on that dabba kinda thing next to the driver to make room for men. disgusting.

one wonders, when an adult (even univ going) pakistani woman would think that she can stand up for her respect and rights.

Why bemoan all the times, ladies? why blame conductors and drivers? Why blame men all the time? Stand up and fight…don’t biath all the time, plz

Men stare at women all the time, everywhere in the world. What is different in other civilized world is that women can turn back and hit back. They dont wait for conductirs and rivers to support them.

    Grow up

Actually, I once did that. I screamed at this bus conductor and the men sitting in the ladies’ part of the bus for a continous 20 minutes, with threats of all sort that I would report them to the police, would they sit here if there sisters were here and more dramatic dialogues. What was sad was that while the men did retreat to the back of the bus, none of the other women on the bus backed me up.

Yup we are one apathetic nation for sure, we would see all sorts of wrong happening around us and yet we shall stay silent like sheep.

But I must say it needs some courage to have a go at those conductors and passengers because I know they are not short of any words.

yeah, being daily victim of travelling in a bus from Bahadurabad to KU n way back ,i know how irritating it is..it seems impossible for males to stop starring at a women from the point she enters the bus till she gets down..i wonder well most of the times tht don’t they get tired starring constantly??n if u dare to stare them back angrily they ‘ll show up the whole battesi..it really sucks..

with one of ma cuz it happened in Metro tht the man touched her…she dare to shout n force the driver to kick him outta bus…i think all womens shud do tht so no man wud dare doing such things … still i agree with saadie it need loads of courage as the mans r never outta words.. real bad words…
